September 22nd, 2015 - 12:58pmI have had this from argos, and must say, very poor quality. It was played with and the arms wouldnt go in again. Took back for an exchange. Had the same problem, so all in all, very bad quality and complete waste of money.

August 12th, 2015 - 11:24pmShame the blaster couldn’t have been River’s but there are copyright issues because of the Nerf parts… still you think they could have replicated a weapon from the series.
The Legend Doctor
August 13th, 2015 - 12:21amOMG River’s gun is actually a nerf gun but painted? I KNEW IT!!!
collector
August 9th, 2015 - 9:00amThis reminds me of something i saw several years ago at a holiday destination (not sure if i can say the place here). It was a plastic black car with a picture of David Tennant and called the Cyber Controller’s car, “just like the one in the series”.
At no point in the show have i seen a Cyberman drive a car, same with this, at no point in the series have i seen someone point a lime green plastic gun at a Cyberman to make its arms pop off or after 9 shots, cause it to fall down ‘dead’.
Just a way for Character to make more money.
However. This is just my opinion and a lot of you seem to like it, so im probably in a minority.

The Doctor Returns
August 9th, 2015 - 12:17pmWhat you saw was a bootleg doctor who toy! They are not made by character they are illegal “fake” toys
The Legend Doctor
August 9th, 2015 - 1:50pma rare knock off set? oh gosh
collector
August 10th, 2015 - 2:17pmIve looked at the stuff on the link, i have seen that helicopter before as well, think the price was £40! Just in my opinion, the Cyberman just looks like its part of a wave of unofficial merchandise.
Like i say, its just my opinion. Guaranteed, theres loads of kids/adult collectors that will want it so that they can help the Doctor during role play, but it doesnt seem that good.
The Legend Doctor
August 8th, 2015 - 6:30pmBooboo do you have this yet?

cyberdoctor42
August 9th, 2015 - 3:23amYeah, there’s alot of these things around, the design of the gun and way the arms pop off makes me think that this is a direct remold of something else.

July 6th, 2015 - 11:07pmFor all those wanting a sonic instead of a gun, I may have found a solution! If you have a sonic universal remote, program one of the motions/ buttons with the guns trigger and hey presto! One sonic blasting a Cyberman!
Geronimo!
The Legend Doctor
July 8th, 2015 - 7:50pmOooo good idea

July 6th, 2015 - 7:09pmThat gun is definitely based on the ‘Preachers’ gun (from rise of the cybermen/age of steel). Cool!

Whovian 4ever
July 6th, 2015 - 5:31pmMum was the same with me and I still don’t like or play with guns
But I suppose if you have a remote control sonic screwdriver you could connect the gun to the sonic It may work that way 🙂

The Silent Silent
July 4th, 2015 - 11:54amI thought Character Options were not allowed to make guns in the Doctor Who Range
Especially, when this product is targeted 100% at kids
booboo
July 4th, 2015 - 11:56amGuns are regularly used in Doctor Who

July 4th, 2015 - 12:10pmEspecially disappointing as it was originally a Sonic Screwdriver which fitted in with the style more.
The Silent Silent
July 4th, 2015 - 2:51pmYes, but why hasn’t a river songs sonic blaster been made ???
booboo
July 4th, 2015 - 3:27pmbecause it would serve no purpose other than “a gun”?
They may have chosen a laser gun for the cyberman as it might appeal to the masses more than a sonic for a “shoot em up”
DOCTOR WHO ONE
July 4th, 2015 - 3:24pmCorrection – Captain Jack’s Sonic Blaster !!.
It’s said that River discovered Jack’s Blaster somewhere in the Tardis.
The Living Shadow
July 4th, 2015 - 4:33pmRiver’s gun has served more than “a gun” purpose, it cuts out squares in the wall, doesn’t it..?

July 4th, 2015 - 11:01amits a lot of fun, i saw it at the toy fair
the astronaut of death
July 4th, 2015 - 11:03amI would have preferred the gun to be the sonic screwdriver – like at the toy fair.
Doctorwhofan561
July 4th, 2015 - 11:49amSame I wanted the sonic
Judooning
July 4th, 2015 - 9:33amNice to see items like this appearing again. I mean we got stuff like this with the Sonic/Laser screwdriver battle pack and River’s Nano recorder etc which was great for kids to play with. Then stuff like that seemed to stop being produced.
So yeah, looks good and glad to see it!
