If the pewter ones are £110, them are these going to be about £80-£90?

These things look like the “Camberwick Green” version of DW.

Have you seen the quality of Harrops camberwick green items ??….. Im not adverse to critical comments of dr who merchandise at all in fact Im renowned for my own but this comment is senseless apart from the factor Harrops do produce nostalgic items from clossic tv shows.

Actually, I meant that the general proportions of these figures remind me of the “Camberwick Green” characters.
If the same sculptors have been doing those too, that might go some way to explaining it.

Belive me TARDIS any Dr Who items you buy in this series are only going to increase in value if maintained in a nice condition… Harrops items which cost less than a hundred when released have increased in value phenomenally….look out for the much sought Harrop’s Thunderbird 5 on ebay as an example….

I can’t wait to get some of these into my collection, I’ll probably skip the Doctor’s but the rest will definitely be on my purchase list. 🙂

P’s. You look at Characters Warriors Gate/season 18 Tom. Now that is a good likeness

The Dalek is the wrong shape. The likeness of Pertwee and Baker isn’t too good. Rest look ok.

Some are really beautiful and some….eh. These are early ones though so the real ones will be epic.

Wait they’re not so early ones. A couple look a little off but most look good. Might get the Dalek

These are really spectacular. I’m gonna have to be collecting them full stop! As for the pewter versions, if I can save up enough I may go for either the Cyberman as a one off to go with the painted range. The pewter doesn’t suit some of them, but it really suits that. Also, because Revenge is my favourite design so I kinda obliged too!

Blimey these are expensive (the pewter ones especialy) And not wanting to argue with vespiformssting, My Character Option ice warrior is not on ly a better sculpt, but movalbe too.

and Tom and Jon dont look right to my eye, noses are too bulbous/ or eyes too deep set, but i appreciate that Humans are much harder than Monsters to sculpt.

oh well to each his own but I think the pertwee figurine is the best representation of a doctor Ive seen….and I think tom’s scarf speaks volumes about the detail going into these… I think character options warrior is good but its too ‘gangly’…

you cant fault this ice warrior, it look superb, as do the other figures, they are all made in a particular style (and i have seen them 1st hand)

they are bigger, sculpted, manufactured and hand pained from start to finish in their own workshops and aimed at the collectors market

not everyone’s cup of tea admitted but a superb range and the Pewter ones look fantastic pictures dont do them justice
