We at Harrop Buckley Designs Ltd have been creating collectable hand painted figurines for over 30 years and have gained a well earned reputation of high quality and accuracy of detail. Our extensive portfolio includes Thunderbirds, Camberwick Green, Beano Dandy and 2000AD to name but a few. A portfolio that is extremely nostalgic and very British, so it was no surprise that Doctor Who would be the next project that we wanted to embrace into our studios!
In partnership with the BBC, we have meticulously hand sculpted a range of 1:12 scale, hand cast and hand painted Doctor Who figurines, each made to strict Worldwide Limited Editions.
As a mark of provenance, each Limited Edition figurine will be numbered with a unique Edition Number and will come packaged in a presentation box with an Information Card and Certificate of Authenticity!

MENTOR SIL
From ‘Vengeance on Varos’ 1985
“I would wish them dead. Only that would please my company.”
The TARDIS requires urgent repairs, so the Doctor and Peri make an emergency landing on Varos, the only planet that produces the Zeiton-7 ore needed to restore the TARDIS back to full working order.
On Varos, the Galatron Mining Corporation, represented by Sil, a Mentor from Thoros-Beta, is seeking to secure the rights to the valuable Zeiton-7 ore and has entered into a tense negotiation with the Governor.
Varos is a deeply oppressive world, where enemies and political prisoners are routinely subjected to cruel tortures and executions. The entire population is encouraged to watch and participate through an interactive television system. Sil actively encourages this method of punishment and seeks to take advantage of the planet’s political and economic instability, including the Governor himself.
The Doctor and Peri are soon entangled in these political machinations and are accused of being alien infiltrators, helping the rebel factions, and find themselves the latest unwilling subjects in this most extreme form of reality TV.

December 12th, 2025 - 4:26pmJust received Sil today – very impressed with this figurine.
I have been an avid collector of these figurines over the years and this is definitely one of the better ones.
I am not over keen on the Doctors in this series as I think it is difficult to actually “capture” a true exact likeness of them but saying that, I have collected everything that Robert Harrop have produced and I hope they continue to produce these figurines.
I think collectors have their own “wish” list and I would love to see an early version of a Dalek from the Dead Planet or a series of Tardis consoles which I think would look amazing.

November 30th, 2025 - 10:03amDrathro should be next, followed by Azal/Bok then the Marshman, if they are released in order.
The ergon
November 30th, 2025 - 6:31pmNo marshman is next, Bok and Azal and then Drathro at a later date as it is a very large and intricate piece.

November 30th, 2025 - 7:25pmYes Definitely the Marshman Figurine Next. Harrops said it was a Poor Year For Dr Who Figurines this Year and They Were hoping to do more Next Year. The Marshman is a Easy Figure to Produce while they play Catch-up.

November 28th, 2025 - 9:52amAn absolute beauty. Nabil Shaban would’ve been tickled by this 🙁
I’m not an early bird, so I had to set my alarm for this one. Don’t forget, it’s only £108 if you join Friends of Harrop, which is free.

November 28th, 2025 - 8:57amIt was strangely quiet on the ordering front this morning. Had collectors forgot all about this or was the price putting them off?
Had to order this iconic 80s monster.

November 28th, 2025 - 9:18am£120 is not justifiable for me. A very expensive extravagence
