Gale Force Nine Doctor Who Don’t Blink Board Game

Available to order from www.forbiddenplanet.com

The TARDIS has crashed on a derelict spaceship, full of Weeping Angels: terrifying killers that can only be stopped by staring at them. But if you dare to stop looking; if you even blin, they’ll send you out of time. Will the Doctor and companions be able to get all the pieces to repair the TARDIS in time? Or will the Weeping Angels succeed where so many adversaries have failed before?

Don’t Blink is a challenging tactical board game in which up to four players control the Doctor and companions, attempting to collect four parts to repair the TARDIS and escape. One player takes on the role of the terrifying Weeping Angels and attempts to out-manoeuvre and capture them!

Players: 2–5. Ages: 14+. Playtime: 30 mins

I wish someone would release a board game that could incorporate the Eaglemoss range. The Dr Who figurines are about the right size for roleplaying games too … fond memories of the 80s flashing before my eyes!

That would be a good idea. I had the same thought about the Star Trek Eaglemoss range and attempted this with the old FASA combat simulator game. However the ships were insecure on the stands. It would be nice for people to actually do something with their Eaglemoss collection rather than just sit around gathering dust on a shelf or worse still kept in their original boxes and hardly looked until a force sale for space, money or nagging from significant others.

Its a shame the characters look like card in this set rather than the plastic figures. I,d be tempted to collect the back catalogue and paint them all.

I agree, Ergon. Sadly looks rather “cheap” for the not-so cheap price.

And the plastic figured ones run out cheaper on some of the previous games. Shame really.alan.
