Thirty years ago, author Andy Lane created two new companion characters for the Doctor Who: The New Adventures novel range. Today, one of these characters, Chris Cwej, is still going strong—with new novels and stories about his solo adventures releasing from Arcbeatle Press since 2020, and the future holds more to come.

“Celebrating the 30th anniversary of the introduction of Chris and Roz in Original Sin is a dream come true,” said range editor Hunter O’Connell. “Cwej: The Series has taken new and wonderful forms I’d never have imagined five years ago, when I first began this project. To see this wonderful science fantasy mythos from the 90s Who novels continuing with Arcbeatle’s help is nothing short of astonishing, and I can’t wait to show you all what we have cooking up for Cwej30.”

Starting June 15th, Arcbeatle Press had prepared a number of treats for readers to celebrate thirty years of our favorite Adjudicator:

• A beautiful full-color hardback edition of the complete first cycle of Cwej stories: Requiem, Down the Middle, And Today You, and Fragments of Totality, as well as two new forewords and a cover gallery.
• A new edition of the novel And Today, You with improved typesetting and a redesigned cover to match the look of other Cwej books on your shelf.
• A collection of poems about Chris’ adventures.

And the celebrations don’t stop there! Coming in July is Dread Mnemosyne / When Winter Comes, a double feature of two novellas as the next installment of Hidden Truths.
