Harrop Figurines are available to order from www.robertharrop.com
Ka-Pow Event
Thanks to Ben for sending us photos from the Ka-Pow event yesterday
1970’s Tardis
Here is the fully painted prototype of their first Tardis.
This particular variant is from the early 1970’s era of Doctor Who and so would have been the vessel for time travel for both the Third and Fourth Doctors …
Sculpted by Simon Boden and scaled correctly to go with their figures…
Mark 3 1970’s Dalek
Exterminate….Exterminate …
With a new and improved base and other minor tweaks …. a Mark 3 Dalek from 1970’s Doctor Who.
Each figure is a Limited edition and comes with a unique Edition Number, packaged in a presentation box with an information card and Certificate of Authenticity.
This looks superbly painted with highlights to shadows and detail to enhance its rugged appearance…

June 14th, 2015 - 1:11amIve ordered the 4th Dr fig – it resembles Tom fairly well and ill be buying the Tardis , Dalek and Sea Devil ( 2 of those ) ; but i think Harrop may have shot themselves in the foot with the 3rd and 10th Drs.
I know they make human figs in their own style but i am finding it hard to pay £100.00 for 2 figurines that dont resemble who they are meant to be.
Maybe they should follow Eaglemoss lead and just stick to the monsters ?
Ill end up with a collection with how many Drs missing due to non-accurate sculpting.I just cant justify spending £50 a fig . The Drs look great un-painted but not so when painted ….. .Weird.

June 14th, 2015 - 9:09amThey will be able to tell what’s working and what isn’t and at least everything is in house so they can keep an eye on things.
I can fully appreciate why some people may not like the style, it will appeal to some, as well as figurine collectors in general.
The “monsters” are superb i have all 5 so far and i can’t fault them and really looking forward to getting the others

June 9th, 2015 - 9:43pmAre these meant to be screen accurate? the ice warrior, silurian and tardis are awesome. but the others are poor in my opinion. the likenesses are terrible :/

June 9th, 2015 - 9:44pmlooking back, the only ones i dont like are the doctors and dalek

June 9th, 2015 - 9:46pmthey sculpt Human Characters in their own style which clearly is not to everyone’s Taste
cant see much of an issue with the Dalek to be honest

June 8th, 2015 - 8:08pmI’m assuming the Tardis doors open… Otherwise why the little pegs holding them at the top?
DoctorRiverTARDIS
June 8th, 2015 - 10:49pmnot necessarily they are making them as screen accurate as possible and the two peg things are on this model of the tardis in the show, see: http://www.thedoctorwhosite.co.uk/wp-images/tardis/exterior-1966/64d.jpg

June 8th, 2015 - 4:28amAfter seeing the Drs in the pic from the ‘ Kapow ‘ event im not buying any of them . Ill stick to just collecting the Monster pieces . The Drs are looking too ‘ Trumpton-y ‘ me for my liking .

June 5th, 2015 - 8:43pmreally cant wait to get my hands on these.
The Dalek looks very effective rather than the “as new” examples of other ranges.
Tardis is a must get.
Would like to see some polls of some sort on the go so we can have some input on future releases

June 5th, 2015 - 8:26pmLove both of these, real shame about the likeness on the Doctors though, I know they have their own look but considering all the other sculpts look screen accurate they look a bit out of place.
That said I think I may have to get a few of these, for the price I think they’re decent value.

June 5th, 2015 - 6:16pmI think they have dropped this as being musical . Harrop said Tardis would be on base at an angle spinning slowly whilst playing the shows theme tune .Doesn’t look like that now . Dalek is a definite buy but unsure on the Tardis.

June 5th, 2015 - 6:29pmDidn’t realise that
Depends on price but i expect we will def get both

June 5th, 2015 - 6:33pmjust seen they obviously couldn’t get the rights to the music .
Tracy Island looks wonderful as well

June 5th, 2015 - 5:49pmThey look fantastic but the bases seem a bit pointless
booboo
June 5th, 2015 - 5:53pmi believe from feedback buyers wanted it to fit in with the other models, also these are to scale so they would be the wrong hight against other figures if they didn’t have the base
not sure if the Tardis may rotate?
David
June 5th, 2015 - 4:18pmI have all of these so far and they are terrific, I can see me collecting them all
Any chance of a look at the Sea Devil?
DOCTOR WHO ONE
June 5th, 2015 - 4:16pmSure have been a load of Dalek and Tardis models available down the years. Maybe someone should make a book on the history of Doctor Who models.

June 5th, 2015 - 4:17pmdoesn’t Howes do one?

DOCTOR WHO ONE
June 5th, 2015 - 5:57pmI believe he does indeed do books that cover Doctor Who figures, but I don’t buy the books myself.
