Figurine Collection Magazine Time Lords Set #5 Missy & Rassilon

Available to order from www.forbiddenplanet.com

The alien Time Lords of Doctor Who are faithfully recreated as 1:21 scale models in this definitive box set collection, accompanied by an in-depth magazine.

Missy – short for ‘Mistress’ – was the name of the Master’s female incarnation, portrayed by Michelle Gomez in series 8-10. A mocking mastermind with a cruel sense of humour, she was a deadly enemy – and occasional ally – to the Twelfth Doctor (Peter Capaldi).

One of the ancient founders of Time Lord civilization, Rassilon ruled Gallifrey from the shadows and was responsible for many of the Great Time War’s atrocities.

Product Features

  • 1/21 scale
  • Made of resin
  • Highly detailed
  • Fifth set of Time Lords
  • Magazine includes information on the characters and other Doctor Who facts

This figurine depicts him in an aged form, played by Donald Sumpter, which he bore during his struggle with the Twelfth Doctor (Peter Capaldi).

I’ve noticed the Rassilon figurine is different to the photo. The figurine head sculpt is thinner and the staff is in a different pose. Which is a shame because the photo has the likeness spot on, has anyone else noticed this?

I wonder if anyone from eaglemoss could explain what is actually going on with these pre orders as I’m sure I am not the only one wondering about this. I personally have 6 things on pre-order and that does not include the reaper special or the next two due for delivery.Thats over £200. I know someone will spout out it’s my choice.yes it is but why not just do a couple at a time. Imagine the money eaglemoss have got well in advance. How many subscribers are doing the same. On top of that…they could at least give update on the site of more detailed delivery dates…not actual as that could not be done but keep collectors updated.i also hear that there is another mega on the horizon before Christmas so that will be another £100 so no doubt pre-order will be will be within the next month or so.Come on eaglemoss all we want is updating.not personally but just one on your website under the pre-order tab. By the way… Fantastic Range.

I think Tectuan regenerated and changed her name to Rassilon to hide the truth. And Ruth I think, and hope, is an alternative universe version of the Doctor hence the TARDIS look error.

Not rassilon. And how do you know the tardis look is an error? Wait and see if there is an explanation first.

Thanks Dav. When I said TARDIS error I meant why has Ruth got a pre unearthly child shaped police box when it was stated in the episode it stuck in Totters Yard, and that ” it should have changed” in Prehistoric time.
That’s why I think it’s alternative an alternative universe, one where Dr Ruth lands in Totters lane and is more handy with a gun.

They could use Quadruple packs, like the Dr And 3 companion sets we’ve been getting lately.

Obviously fifth Doctor and companion sets up next would be nice. We need a new 5th. The first release looked nothing like. And sets from specific stories as well as continuing with the specials. They could also look into doing Vehicles and spaceships as well as scaled down TARDIS variations.

Since not all classic enemies will be included in the 200 run, I think figurine 2 packs of enemies of the Doctor would be well received. As an example
      1st Doctor- drahvin and roboman
2nd Doctor- war lord and chameleon
      3rd Doctor- primord and mutt
4th Doctor- mr. sin and styggron

Series 6: headless monk, peg doll, siren, astronaut or a good man goes to war cyberman holding gun
Series 9: prentis, leandro, sleep dust monster, bonnie holding bazooka
Season 18: foamasi, melkur, tharil, vampire
Season 21: tractator, mestor, kamelion, furlough
Season 14: Leela, hieronymous, mr sin, eldrad (Male version)
Season 4: chameleon, atlantean fish person, Ben, Polly

I’d really like to see figurines for the following:

      1. Terileptil Android from The Visitation.
      2. First Doctor popping out from inside a Dalek, from the Space Museum.
      3. Damaged Cyberman from The Five Doctors.
      4. Black Guardian.
      5. Gallifreyan Guard from the Classic Series.
      6. Caillech from The Stones Of Blood.
      7. Chameleon alien from The Faceless Ones.
      8. Melkur from Keeper of Traken.
      9. Sarah Jane with spider on back.
      10. Leela!

      Hi Philip,

I would really like to see a series of villain/monster double packs so things like,

      Drahvin/Rill
      Zaroff/Fish Person
      Stahlman/Primord
      The Marshal/Mutt
      Kraal/Android in Spacesuit
      Skagra/Krarg

Or it could be nice to see a series of villain double packs such as,

      Tlotoxl/Tegana
      Ranquin/Sharrel
      Cessair of Diplos/Lady Adrasta
      Monarch/Dukkha
      Gavrok/Kane

Would be a nightmare chasing down the rights for all the likenesses of specific actors I suppose but would be lovely to see characters like these!

I am looking forward to both of these so much that there aren’t enough words to describe that level of excitement. Bit shocked and surprised that they decided to make Missy the only reoccurring Master from the show not to feature in the main collection and I love getting to know behind the scenes stuff about the decision making process with this collection so would be interested to know how and why that decision was made? I’m not fussed or annoyed or disappointed just incredibly curious. Either way I hope there will be plenty more Time Lord box-sets in the future to look forward to.

Beautiful! Lovely pose for Missy and great likenesses on both. This has been a great series.

Not Time Lords of course, but a double pack of the Guardians would be fantastic (preferably from season 16 and not with the stuffed birds on their heads!)
