June 17th, 2020 - 11:39amDoes anyone know of anywhere these are still in stock? This was missing from an order I placed from eaglemoss back in Feb, I finally got a response from them about it today, saying it is out of stock now and they will issue a refund, but naturally I would still like the set

May 28th, 2020 - 9:56pmPity you cant buy the pieces seperately. I’d have much preferred Ian and Barbara in their Aztec outfits. Probably end up buying them if the restocked batch has been painted better.

March 7th, 2020 - 8:04pmI am a completionist and I think it is getting a bit silly now with black and white figures.it has been made impossible now with things like black and white sets coming out. A bit more warning maybe but a lot of collectors do not have spare money to chuck about which in my opinion is making it difficult for a lot of collectors when it is £40 a time.one or two figure sets maybe but 40 is out of the question for a lot of people.i think this is a case of let’s get as much as we can off them…and they know this so there is no sensibility from them to us subscribers. Those who bought the original set could have been offered a fair discount on this set if they really wanted to help and not just be money money money.Hell why not do it properly and all first and second doctor figurines come out AGAIN but black and white.

March 6th, 2020 - 5:33pmThat’s a bit extreme in my opinion. I used to be a completionist with this collection but its financially impossible now. That’s without slight variants of £40 and £20 pieces. I still love the main collection but I’m just lost with all the specials

Afraid to say this is really very poor service. What numbers have others been calling to get through for replacement sets?

February 18th, 2020 - 2:55pmWhy has this now changed back to pre-order instead of add to basket on the Eaglemoss shop site? Have they recalled stock back to check breakages and paint quality control or is there another reason that anyone knows of…maybe the virus situation on China?

February 19th, 2020 - 9:42pmGiven the amount of stock they must have had to resend out to customers affected by breakages and the fateful decision to not include air bags in the boxes I wouldn’t be surprised if they’ve exhausted the available stock. My own Barbara was sheared off at both ankles and both the outer and inner boxes looked like they’d been gnawed and smothered by wild animals. It’s all gone quiet with customer services since I alerted them to this. I expect any day to get an email to say they have no replacements left to send out.

February 19th, 2020 - 10:24pmMine contained airbags but the boxes looked as though they,d been kicked around and crushed under weight. They need to get their act together and sort this before the next sets are due and change courier service if the problem isn,t at their end.

February 14th, 2020 - 12:14pmThis is the first ever set of these I have purchased as the closet we will come for now of a figure set of Ian, Susan etc, but for £40 am shocked at the poor quality of these! smaller than I expected and the paint job/likeness are shocking! Will not be buying anymore!

February 11th, 2020 - 1:57pmObviously not. My kneejerk reaction was ‘get em sent back’ as soon as i saw the breakages. I never even gave it a second thought to inspect the paintjobs. It,ll go back again if the replacements the same in quality.

February 11th, 2020 - 2:36pmYeah, my hartnell looks like he’s in yellow face, but all the 3 others are very nice, despite some minor paint bleeds, but I’m still very glad that I bought the set, hoping for a 5th doctor, adric, nyssa and tegan one day as well as a unit set with liz, jo and the brig

February 11th, 2020 - 6:49pmThis is a first with these sets. I haven,t recieved as bad as this before even with the singles. All that was missing was a large tube of superglue. The bloke from customer service almost made me laugh when he said i should hang onto them and save for parts if i wanted to mend them.

Had to reorder again and ask them to get quality (if they have quality) to check next items over before despatch. This is not on. Never had this with these sets before. They seem knocked out in any condition.

February 12th, 2020 - 2:55pmI’ve been told I’ll be getting a replacement sent out as it wasn’t just Ians face that was chipped, the doctors ring hand was badly smudged as well
This is the first time I’ve been unhappy with the paint app on the companion sets and first time I’ve asked for a replacement due to the paint app.
The last companion set I asked for a replacement was with the 2nd Doctor/Jamie set, the Doctor was broken off the stand at the ankles and Eaglemoss kindly sent me 12 replacement sets LOL
(I sent the extra 11 sets back)

February 14th, 2020 - 1:10pmMy replacement set Doctor had brown spots all over his face, however I managed to remove them using paint thinner on a cotton bud, now his face is ‘spot’less 🙂
