Figurine Collection Magazine Companion Set #10 8th Doctor
This three-figurine box-set unites the Eighth Doctor (Paul McGann) with Liv Chenka (Nicola Walker) and one of the Master’s Dalek allies from the Big Finish audio plays.
The Eighth Doctor appears in more-informal attire than his debut TV Movie appearance,with satchel and sonic screwdriver. Med-tech Liv Chenka is dressed as she appears on the cover of Big Finish drama Dark Eyes 2 (below). The accompanying Dalek features a different colour scheme to those seen in the TV series, with blue hemispheres over a grey shell.

April 19th, 2020 - 1:59amThat seems quite surprising. The first 6 sets all sold out of their original first run and most of them are now on their second run of releases. The only two sets that sold out ridiculously quickly were the First Doctor and TV movie Eighth Doctor companion sets and I chalked that down to the awful quality control which led to Eaglemoss/Hero Collector having to send out a large amount of unnecessary replacements. I didn’t even get a chance to buy either of these sets direct from them and I’m now having to wait patiently for them to do a second release of these companion sets. If they really sorted out the quality control in the manufacturing process of this collection, the paint application and the shipping of broken figurines are two things they really need to sort out, then they wouldn’t need to send out replacements for free and would still be selling out of their box-sets.

May 5th, 2020 - 10:41amI hope they’re not upping the prices as I dread to think what a four figure set would cost (holding out on a 3rd doctor, liz, jo and brigadier set and a 5th doctor, nyssa, tegan and adric set and if we’re really being cheeky a 10th doctor blue suit, Martha, Donna and wilf set as they were all technically in end of time, sontaran two parter and series 4 finale together)

Have you considered not allowing anonymous comments on the site. Seems like the main moaners are not willing to give their names or username etc..
It’s the same with the Season 14 comments. Even those who claim to have had an order cancelled provide no evidence of it.
Although I’m more of a monsters fan I enjoy collecting the range. Any issues I’ve had with paint application or damage has been sorted by them within a week. And I’m sure they take the feeback on board and address it with their staff.
And this new set. I really want the Dalek but not the companion or Doctor. Might have to buy it and sell the other two.

May 6th, 2020 - 1:38amI have had to get replacements for sd7 the yeti twice and the first doctor set. I have been sent replacements with no problems. The dalek took 2 years to come and the yeti took 3 attempts to get one not broken. But considering how long the range has been going and all the extras too it’s not too bad. Customer services once you do get hold of them replace straight away apart from dalek so haven’t really got a problem with eaglemoss and would hope the collection goes on longer as it is a superb collection overall

So I can’t fault them when they promise something will be fixed.

March 19th, 2020 - 6:40pmI’m with Bobby Davros here as Peri is my favourite companion! aside from that, in an ideal world I’d love all the companions from TV and Big Finish, but we arguably won’t get them all, and as there hasn’t been sets yet from the 3rd, 5th, 6th &7th Doctor eras I think the most iconic companions from said eras, Jo, Tegan, Peri, and Ace should be done first. Bearing in mind some core companions eg Leela, Donna, and Clara haven’t been done yet also which means certain doctors will need to get a 2nd companion set, and as i doubt all the doctors will get covered twice, I’d be gutted if Peri was overlooked in place of Evelyn or even if Benny was done instead of Ace. This looks like abother great set though & I love the Lucie Miller set it’s one of the best releases eaglemoss have done.
