Figurine Collection 1st Doctor, Susan, Ian and Barbara B&W Set

Bringing the classic characters as you’ve seen them on-screen in 1963, this new four-figurine set collects together once more the First Doctor and his companions Barbara, Ian and Susan in our Doctor Who Figurine Collection!

The First Doctor arrived on screen in 1963, years before the BBC began broadcasting in colour. In the first episode “An Unearthly Child”, the viewers joined the brave teachers Barbara Wright and Ian Chesterton on their first adventure with the Doctor and his granddaughter Susan on adventures through space and time in the TARDIS.

The First Doctor & Susan, Ian and Barbara Black and White Figurine Set captures the characters as they appear in the first-ever episode of Doctor Who “An Unearthly Child”. The First Doctor, portrayed by William Hartnell, wears an Astrakhan hat and a double-breasted jacket. Susan (Carole Ann Ford) is dressed in a striped top and jeans. Barbara and Ian are dressed in long coats looking surprised to be inside the TARDIS for the first time. All the figurines were produced in black & white to capture their original look on screen.

It’s odd isn’t it how sort of right these characters look in black and white! Very nice.

I’m assuming you’ll get the same magazines with the BW versions as came with the colour editions? It’d be funny if they reprinted those in black and white too

Great alternative if they can keep those black spots off Firsts face. I,m still waiting for that coloured replacement.
