Some snippets of information, no exact details or dates…
- SFX Dalek wave 2 will consist of SEVEN figures
- SFX Special Weapons Dalek on Its Way (probably UT/FP exclusive
- Unless plans change The Dalek in the 3rd Doctor toys r us set set will be very “different and special” from any other. (No its not the clear or Supreme Daleks)
- The new 3.75″ figures will include randomly placed “Rare” variants
The special weapons Dalek was previously released in the Remembrance of the Daleks set and has now become highly sought after, this will a very welcome move for many…

May 4th, 2013 - 9:24pmYeah, in ‘Remembrance of the Daleks’ it only appears briefly for a few scenes destroying some renegade Daleks while the Imperial Daleks capture the Hand of Omega from the renegades, and does not speak during any scenes what so ever, nor has it ever been known that a Special Weapons Gunner Dalek can speak or not like the usual Dalek’s do.

May 4th, 2013 - 10:13pmits because the SWD has no meaning in the dalek world, it was basically a life less shell that was made by davros or the daleks to defeat any enemy, there was living thing inside it, its was nothing just a killer, it will probably make a shooting noise, but i dont think 100% that these are even real and doming into the SFX range because the whole point of them was that they could speak, so what is the point of having a non speaking dalek for SFX, yep people would want it, but just re-release it!!!

May 4th, 2013 - 6:19pmThis ‘different and special’ Dalek with the 3rd Doctor…Do you think it could have the same element the Genetic hand print Dalek did, where you head it up slightly and it changes colour to an invisible style paint job? If you get what I mean. That would be special and different.

May 4th, 2013 - 6:14pmthe idea of rare figures is a bit annoying its great to get rare varients but id really hoped to get all the 3.75 scale figures released so i have the complete set of them and the rare ones will make it harder to get them all and theyll probably be fetching loads on ebay

Ive wanted this son of a cannon [literally !! 😀 ] in my Dalek collection for ages, and was really disappointed when a staff member at Forbidden Planet in London told me Character Options no longer produce the set that this figure originally came in, but to have it with added sound effects is the bomb !!!! 😀
Hope they do the same with Davros as the Imperial Emperor Dalek, he is one I would also love to own in my Dalek Collection !!!!! 😀
