I certainly don,t want this collecton to end anytime soon. There are 4 davros incarnations that need releasing and too many classics and variations IE: Axon Woman/child and creature, pegdolls (at least 2 there), you get my drift. Why would something so successful end at just 180. I think we need special packs to get most of the ones we want out.

I really hope The Borad will be coming up before 180! He’d make a terrific figurine

Hello, if the range continues beyond 180, I hope that Eaglemoss does a few obscure or unpopular monsters from the classic series, that would make good figures. I’d like Exxilons, Kraals, Taran Woodbeast,, Movellons,Nimon, Meglos, Kraargs from Shada, Foamasi, Droid from The Visitation, The Mara etc.

From the new series it would be cool to see an anne droid, a werewolf, a krillitane, an abzorbaloff,a hoix, a racnoss or lazarus creature(but the legs may be weak), an adult pyrovile, Donna with time beetle, a vinvocci, a saturnyne creature from vampires in Venice or krafayis, headless monk, a peg doll, a corroded cyberman, a shakri, a weeping angel statue of liberty, a snowman, a spoonhead, grandfather, a hide creature, a creature from journey to the centre of the tardis, a skovox blitzer, a flatline creature, missy, person with dream crab, a ghost, leandro, dust creature, Heather creature, eater of light creature and glass woman

To be honest I think it’s criminal that we’ve not had the Snowman, Werewolf, Pegdoll and Headless Monk already. I’d love the Skovox Blitzer too as I feel that Capadli is still underrepresented in the series particularly versus the other modern eras.

Peter is only just behind mart Smith if you include companion sets, but yes as he’s my favourite, I’d have preferred a face the raven set with red coat capaldi and blue jumper Clara. Purple coat 11 with river song name of the doctor set, grey coat capaldi with nardole and green coat 11 with Rory too!

I believe missy is also in the pipelines for the 12th doctor era. A snowman, headless monk, peg doll, dream lord and possibly a shakri seem most feasible. Leandro could be done for 12 and possibly Heather. Or a cybus design mondasian cyberman with circular chest plate, possibly with the production error blue chest plate.

    • Neil Corry

We’ve scheduled up to issue 167, and planned up to issue 180 (including special editions, the rare Dalek series for premium subscribers, the companion sets and… something else).

Unfortunately, neither Bok (which would be a regular issue) or Melkur (which would likely be a special edition) have made the list. If we go past 180 they may well do, however.

There has been no confirmation that the collection will go past issue 180. Lots of things have to be worked out before any decision is made.

I can confirm that we have some really nice classic series figurines coming up though as well as mix of 21st-century Who.

    • Badwolf359

      May 3rd, 2019 - 4:15pm

The Melkur costume is about 7 foot tall which is about the same size as the Fisher King (or less) and not much different than an Ice Warrior. Unless he’s “Krotonized” I think you could get away with him in the main collection.

    • The Werewolf

      May 1st, 2019 - 8:33pm

I’ll do my usual routine: Which is Order from FP, then Eaglemoss don’t send them any stock. I then cancel the Order & have to try & find them elsewhere? I’m very surprised that Eaglemoss Products are still available from FP; but I can only suppose that there is a bottom line there, that bring’s them in some ££££££?

    • The ergon

Well i got mine in early and it turned out alright, i got both the 4th doc/ sarah just a day or so before 10th and Rose came, that was around Sept/oct. Its understandable why some people might be miffed and can,t understand why Eaglemoss didn,t wait till all the orders were in (at least in the first few weeks, to establish how many first orders were required). I,ve just preordered with FP as a backup but will order from Eaglemoss when they put up also. Whoever despatches first gets my money.

Lots of people want a Kerblam man. Classics will get released eventually, but it’s no good complaining about new series figurines because you’d be outnumbered-they are more popular and keep sales going-without the new series, there’d be no classics. There aren’t even that many-maybe at the start of the collection when it needed to get off the ground, but they’re more evenly spaced now.

    • NEIL CORRY

      May 1st, 2019 - 3:37pm

The Morphoton Brain is unlikely to happen because of the transparent casing they came in.

That’s the other thing people have to take into consideration – the practicality of actually making a character.

I don’t understand why people are so worked up whenever we get a new series figure. To me, it’s much more exciting than a classic as it’s brand new and isn’t something we’ve had before in another range. I’m sure the collection will go on beyond 180 as it’s so popular, not to mention all the specials and bonus editions, so I’m sure there’ll be space for everybody’s favourites. Personally, I won’t be happy until we get the Abzorbaloff.

I’m a subscriber and collect every figurine and specials, Dalek’s, etc, and don’t want to be classed as a new series figure hater. I’d love to see the junk Dalek, a mud witch, kerblam man is coming, I’ don’t even mind a Pting, I just thought a frog on a chair would not only be difficult to do, as the chair has thing legs, but is not good enough to warrant a figure.
I’m sure if people want a frog on a chair badly enough then can buy a dolls house chair and a small frog from Ebay and make their own.

I did pay a lot of money for a big chief Amy pond last year for her birthday, but Amy is her favourite companion and when it originally came out she was too young to really look after it.

    • Anonymous

      May 1st, 2019 - 1:34pm

Aha! the old “I’m buying things for the family, not really for myself” excuse.

Been there, done that, and now it’s not ‘my’ collection anymore, it’s ‘the family’ collection of Who items.

On the plus side, ‘the’ collection’s grown quite big (even if it is split across different households now) . Watch out for ” could I just get such and such a piece from you, ‘cos it will go with my other set of … perfectly”.

This observation comes to you from someone who
      a. should know better
      b. is considered too old to be interested in a ‘kids tv programme’
      c. doesn’t care what anyone says, Doctor Who is an excellent multi-generational programme that all should enjoy (even if there are some episodes that I’m indifferent about, other family members really like ’em)

Anonymous, it really is her collection. She pays for some out of her pocket money, I buy her others for her doing extra chores, doing well at school etc, but the collection is hers and if one day she decides to get rid of them I won’t interfere or keep them for myself. My collection is books and DVDs. My book collection is at 3000 at the moment and my DVD at around 1000. The only items I would insist on keeping are her big chief figures, Amy and Clara due to the costs and limited nature. She wants the Jodie figure but that is going to depend on costs and availability at the time it comes out. I personally can look at these figures and say that’s a good one but if it’s one she’s not interested in it doesn’t get bought. I quite liked the sensorite and the terileptil but she didn’t want them so they didn’t get bought.

The Junkyard Dalek is a must, and they could also do an unmasked Tim Shaw from Ranskoor Av Kolos, a Sniperbot, a Thijarian, the Morox, Ribbons, maybe a giant Spider special and, of course, the Pting and the Solitract.

I’d love a series 11 mini wave although the less said about the Arachnids in the UK the better

I thought AITUK was alright!? Doesn’t lend itself to a figurine collection but as an episode it was passable.

No…just no… I prefer ITFOTN, SNM and TTC to AITUK
