One good point from character’s end was that a VERY VERY limited run of a 12″ stone dalek was released and sold at a comic con ages ago which did look far more comprehensive than the 5″ one. The paintwork was a much more convincing stone effect with many clusters of chips to beef up the stone effect. When the eyestalk light turned on, the stone effect on the eye was just brilliant. Sadly, I never tracked one down and resulted to making a slighty botched custom with some paint and scratch issues on it’s back panel. The front looks ok though and I did chip it up as well so it could pose in the background next to CO’s 12″ stone dalek in moodly lighting or slightly blurred.

According to Character they actually never made one, their are a lot of customs around but as far as I know and they know they never made a 13″ one

A youtuber made a review of it but it seems to have been deleted since, so I cannot prove it; i have sifted google ad youtube for any trace and there is none but I did recall seeing the packaging, it did address the dalek as the underhenge dalek and it was 13″ sized packaging. It must have been limited to under ten units. It was legendary in detail though.

I doubt it’s a legit thing then, it was probably a few customs someone did.

Well according to Character they never made one, so if they say they didn’t then they must have been custom. I do know you can get very good customs and also someone does custom packaging as well you occasionally see.

Hold on, I take back my disappointment about already making a custom, Theirs looks to be FAR superior. I think mine would about check out in the background in moody light.

Happy to see this one, I did wonder what out of the newer Dalek’s they’d make next, still hoping they’ll do the orange, yellow & the other original red & blue versions but then Dalek’s are my favourite characters so if they made every last single version that would make me a very happy customer. 🙂

Honestly, I prefer the original variation of the cover. Although that might just be because it is the one we are used to

What date does this get to retail, could it be perhaps the week of episode 1 premiere?

Judging by the cover design change, I’d say it’s likely.

FP says 7th October. This would also fit with the rumours ad press conference ‘October’ listing too. 7th is a Sunday so it’s a possibility it may begin on the 6th?

I’m quite looking forward to this Dalek actually, will hope it does have that more detail than the Character one

You can see an image of the figurine on Forbidden Planet (and facebook), there is some damage detail on the sculpt. It looks good in my opinion.

It looks more rusty and knackered than stone though.

the model doesn’t appear to have a gun arm as has the one on the cover…

I’m not looking forward to the stone dalek as I’m not keen on the Paradigm style, however I’m pleased that that Eaglemoss have created a new sculpt rather than repainted an existing Paradigm dalek and given it a gritty texture.

I think I’ll place it next to Rusty (another dalek I’m not overly keen on) 😀

Think this new template is, ok at best. Let’s be honest the previous one looked far better. At least it was an actual template, the next issue has a different formatting slightly with a line present under the logo

I love the Stone Dalek. Bought two of the 5″ range a few years ago.

It’s a shame the 5″ was done in haste, i didn’t think the stone effect was quite right, too creamy and the sculpt being a photocopy of the standard paradigm dalek without chunks removed, sanded down.

They were limited edition Marble stone Daleks i think you’ll find.

      Just kidding.

Thought so too. Maybe they meant as soon as Jodie Whitaker’s series starts to air?
