Eleven Doctor Who Audio Go/Big Finish Specials Next Year

All Eleven Doctors Audio’s Next Year

From www.scifibulletin.com

According to a report in the new issue of Doctor Who Magazine, audio producers Big Finish and AudioGo are working together on a series of eleven special Doctor Who stories to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the show next year.

The series will feature one Doctor per month, and will be overseen by John Ainsworth, with AudioGo’s Michael Stevens and Big Finish’s Nicholas Briggs and Jason Haigh-Ellery executive producing.

The first story, Hunters from Earth by Nigel Robinson is read by Carole Ann Ford and Tam Williams, and is set in that little-charted period after the first Doctor and Susan have arrived on Earth in 1963, but before they depart with Ian and Barbara at the end of An Unearthly Child.

I think people are missing the fact that it says “ELEVEN DOCTOR WHO STORIES” not “Eleventh Doctor stories.”

It’s easy to see what you want, even when it’s not really there. ❗

Um…. If you’re saying that we think that they are doing 11th Doctor stories, we don’t (at least, the people who have commented don’t) They are doing at least one story for every doctor.

BBC Books are doing the same sort of thing, but with books. Though they are only reissues, with new cover artwork.

Maybe, instead of doing the actual Time War, they show in the 8th Doctor one the beginning and in the 9th Doctor one the end.

It’s quite unlikely that he’ll be providing the voice of the Ninth Doctor, since there was tension between him and those working on Doctor Who, which led to him leaving. He’s said that he doesn’t want to return for the fiftieth if asked, too.

The most likely option is that they’ll use the Companion Chronicle method and have one of the people who worked with him on the show read the story but in character.

Given his experience with Big Finish it seems likely to be Noel Clarke as Mickey Smith out of any of the others although you never know.

Noel Clarke has done some work for them in the past so it seems most likely it would be him or it coudl be a combination of various different companions.

I also thought about Noel Clarke, but he wasn’t as big of an impact for 9 as he was for 10.

You could argue the same about Sara Kingdom but it didn’t stop her doing some Companion Chronicles.

I didn’t know she did them XD. So if she did them, then Camille Courdi (spelled wrong I know)could also do them
