Dr Who Figurine Collection #189 The Snowman

The 2012 Christmas special unleashed the terrifying Snowmen into our Doctor Who Figurines Collection!

The Christmas special in 2012 introduced Clara Oswald as the Doctor’s newest companion – and also unleashed the terrifying Snowmen! As a young child, the genius Walter Simeon created a snowman from “slightly telepathic” alien snow. It absorbed his darkest thoughts, and gradually grew into the Great Intelligence, a brilliant crystalline mind kept inside a giant snowglobe. As his snow spread across the globe, Walter created an army of vicious snowmen to conquer 19th-century London… Thought-sensitive in their own right, the snowmen were summoned by anyone who thought of them – but could be melted if their victims imagined them melting!

This Snowman Figurine captures the likeness of the terrifying creature as seen in the 2012 Eleventh Doctor Adventure “The Snowmen”. The figurine has been meticulously crafted in specially formulated metallic resin and painted by hand.

Product Features:

  • Material: Metallic Resin, carefully produced in 1:21 scale
  • Hand-painted for incredible detail to show all the little details
  • Great gift for Doctor Who fans

The Snowman Figurine is accompanied by a 16-page magazine featuring information about your figurine and its creation, plus exclusive behind the scenes of the Christmas Special “The Snowmen”.

This might actually be one of my favourite figurines, so cool and I love the Eleven / Clara era of the show

    Love this figurine.

As I only display my Daleks he/she/it will come out yearly in December along with the Heavenly Host and Robot Santa.

Just wondered if anyone had noticed that when Eaglemoss early promotional images first come out it usually states “Not final product”.
I always think to myself I wonder what little tweeks or improvements are they going to make to the sculpt
BUT, when they arrive there always exactly to same as the 1st images?.

more likely the images have not been approved yet, these images tend to come from wholesale catalogues and are not intended for retail use at the time

These and the 3rd doctor set are brilliant! Can’t wait for Ashad and the Toymaker, wonder what we’ll see as a rare dalek and whether Melkur will come with the next delivery or with the cyber warrior and chameleon. Can’t wait for future announcements!!

I just bought Ashad and the Toymaker. I don’t subscribe, so I don’t have to wait for them arriving. I noticed they’d been on add to basket a few days now.

Yes if you could find enough icicles for the sharp teeth.

I love this figurine! Really nicely detail in the ‘snow’ texture and both figures this month were very well painted. The Fugitive Doctor is a fantastic likeness – one of the best for the Doctors I think. Great figures both!

The Third Doctor Companion set came too and again a really lovely set and all nicely detailed and well painted.

Love this collection! So well done to all for keeping it going…just need it to keep going long enough for a Krarg figurine!

It’s a great set Booboo I think. The Brig figure in particular is a really good likeness and the paint jobs are very well done too. Happy customer here!

Bodes well for the Fifth Doctor set – the Adric likeness in that is absolutely spot on and I think they’ve caught Peter Davison well too.

i think the jagged teeth must vary. mine were a litle clumped together at the bottom but the figurine itself was very good.
