Dr Who Figurine Collection #165 Lin-Dalek

The Lin-Dalek Figurine captures the likeness of actress Charlotte Ritchie with squid-like Dalek on her back. His tentacles are wrapped around her body giving full control of her body and mind to the Dalek. She is standing in an unnaturally stiff pose giving her a puppet look.

The Lin-Dalek Figurine comes complete with a 20-page illustrated magazine featuring information about your figurine and we look at the heroes who were a part of the UNIT.

So should this figure be displayed with the daleks or with the general other figures, my display is doctors, timelords, daleks, cybermen, everything else 🙂

You could put her with Dalek Sec Hybrid

Do most people display them like that, just curious as I display mine in chronological order

Mine are grouped with the Doctor they appeared with, apart from the Cybermen and Daleks, who make up their own armies

Doug Who, that happened with my 13th Doctor set this week, too! Luckily the DPD driver phoned me

      Hi Gareth,
Yes thankfully the driver phoned me too.
It seems to be happening to lots of folk – even Neil said it happened to him!
I’ll send them an email just in case it does affect deliveries. The figures themselves are fantastic but customer services does seem to be lacking on occasion.

It might be the drop-down menu when you put a postcode in and then click on your address. Next time I order something I’m going to triple check it’s registered my full address.

Also: I meant to mention this when in the office yesterday. I’ll email for Monday. It might be happening to loads of DPD deliveries.

The regular delivery arrived this morning and the address was all present and correct.

Must be an issue with orders through the website so I’ll do as you suggest Neil and thanks for helping. Your time is very much appreciated!

By the way great figurines this month again – the Greel one is just brilliant! Love you see ‘Bent Face’ in all his time distorted glory.

seen a few comments about poor paint work, not an issue with mine, likeness is one of the best “human” characters as well.

It does look like one of the more challenging figures to paint though

Mine did have some paint missing from the Dalek mutant in places and some ‘bleeding’ on other areas but it was easy enough to touch up.
Paint jobs can still be a wee hit and miss (my Ryan figure is a bit cross eyed!) and I suppose it is inevitable with a mass produced item on this small scale but annoying if you happen to get a poorer one. There seemed to be more problems of this kind at the start but mostly they are fine now.
I’m having issues with the house number missing from the address labels although thankfully hasn’t (so far) affected deliveries.
