Dr Who Figurine Collection #11 Rassilon

Celebrate 50 years of Doctor Who this fantastic new figurine collection. The series draws from every era show and includes all eleven versions of the Doctor plus his greatest monsters.

All the figurines are carefully produced in 1:21 scale, and cast in a specially formulated metallic resin before being painted by hand and individually numbered.

The specially formulated resin and high quality sculpting allow the figurines to reproduce an incredible level of detail right down to the mesh in the Silurian Warrior’s uniform and the controls on Davros’s console.

Each figurine recreates a specific moment from the TV series in loving detail and every sculpt is based on detailed study of the original production photography, props and drawings.

The collection features several different versions of the Daleks and Cybermen allowing you to trace their evolution over the years.

This is the definitive Doctor Who figurine collection.

OMG, this looks terrible….hope the actual figure looks better than this…yuck. Is this a clearance issue with Timothy’s likeness or just a bad sculpting and paint job?

I’ve figured out why it looks so bad! The vogon symbol in revenge of the cybermen was reused for time lords a year later in the dealy assassin…

If you ask me it looks more like a coven than rasilon.

I think the human figurines aren’t going to look as good as the aliens. The eleventh doctor is the best human figurne. Tenth doctor is average but rassilon looks terrible! but i’m still gonna get it for a complete collection. Does anyone know what human figurine we get next?

That one there is a really bad figure I must admit, mine was far better. They can vary quite drastically in quality depending on your luck.

The Rassilon shown here looks great, I wish mine was like that, the one I got sent has white paint on eyebrows, red paint down the nose and black smudge on the chin, it looks like its had a few rounds with Mike Tyson.

Thankfully its getting replaced by Eaglemoss, can’t fault their customer service.

Its a lottery! Some are about expectable and some are terrible. I got a replacement for my Davors, better but still not great.

If you have patience, and just want the figures then the best thing to do is wait till next year when people flog these at the car boot ( similar to the marvle/dc figures) these usually get sold joblot for a deccent price!

It’s shipping to the UK mid January then we’ll get it a few weeks later, they wanted to make the proper packaging for it to avoid any damage.

      January 4th, 2014 - 12:13am

Do you have to construct it? Because the pictures that were sent in my Email showed the middle section with the Dome and Mutant Section separate from the outer part with the Hemispheres on the 3 sides and the base?

    • Doctor Stu

      January 4th, 2014 - 1:17am

It might just be part of the construction process to reassure subscribers that it is actually being made just in case they think they’re being led on

  • Ross Campbell

    January 3rd, 2014 - 5:12pm

Oh my days if Timothy Dalton saw this he would probably think ‘is this someone’s idea of a joke?’. This is a mess no offence to the people who make these figurines.

      January 4th, 2014 - 12:51am

He probably did see it as he would need to agree to the use of his likeness.

The figures are a bit variable, mine is actually really good, it is a shame they are a bit off in some cases.

I disagree, there is the odd one painted weirdly but it’s bound to happen since it’s hand painted. Also the moulding is always perfect, you may just have the odd trouble with the human figures.
The main problem I think is the shipping/packaging but that doesn’t necessarily mean they aren’t working out.

      January 3rd, 2014 - 5:05pm

the monsters are fine, very good in fact, i agree the human characters are suffering a little though
