Doctor Who Titans Artist Proofs by Matt Jones

Many more figures have been added to his site including some 6.5″ Titans.

Matt Jones designs all of the Doctor Who TITAN Vinyl Figures. Artists proofs are the very first figures of the production run, the net result of all the hard work!

Artist Proofs are limited and include some rare and chase figures. They are signed and numbered and make a great centrepiece to any Titans Collection.

Artists proofs are available to order direct from www.lunartik.com

Can someone explain how limited these are? For example, the Cassandra figure currently says ‘2 in stock’ but doesn’t say how many in total there are/were?? Sorry if I’m being dumb

Not sure but Artist’s Proofs are like Prototypes for the 5″ figures, there are very few and very limited, so 2 might be all there are.

Why are the prices so high?

They aren’t that high really-Titans are usually £8, so a £12 increase for most of them, considering they are the original sculpts, and some of them are chase figures too, isn’t that bad.

If you mean the most recent hot topic exclusives like the tardis and rose they will get posted eventually. It takes awhile to have all these signed and listed online.

Dream on. I’ve given up on these due to the amount of rarities you can’t get. Pointless collecting if you can’t get a full collection. I also blame TITAN for this as it has nothing to do with the artist. TITAN are the ones pushing out Exclusives in the US that no one can get hold of. Whenever they appear on ebay or the like, the sheer greed in their prices leave’s a nasty taste in my mouth.
