A NEW ERA FOR DOCTOR WHO COMICS BEGINS WITH THE LOST DIMENSION on AUGUST 30, 2017!
All-new event kicks off 2017’s Doctor Who Comics Day!
New York – May 23, 2017 – Peter Capaldi’s Twelfth Doctor is battling the universe’s darkest forces in the latest season of Doctor Who currently airing Saturdays at 9/8c on BBC AMERICA in the U.S., and at 9 p.m. ET on Space in Canada – but, the menace continues for the Doctor on August 30, 2017 with the multi-Doctor storyline, DOCTOR WHO: THE LOST DIMENSION, from Titan Comics!
This Alpha issue kick-starts Titan’s DOCTOR WHO COMICS DAY global event (Saturday September 2, 2017) and continues in the Ninth Doctor special that same week – so retailers are encouraged to sign up and stock up for the celebrations.
DOCTOR WHO: THE LOST DIMENSION, is an epic event – comprised of eight chapters over three months – crossing over all four ongoing series (Ninth, Tenth, Eleventh, and Twelfth Doctor comics). The event will begin a new era for Titan’s Doctor Who comics, and will find the Ninth, Tenth, Eleventh, and Twelfth Doctor playing their part to battle The Void!
The Void has always existed: “No place. The silent realm. The lost dimension.” But the Void is no longer empty. The Void is hungry, and devouring our universe – through time and space. Now, the four Doctors must join forces to save…everything!
DOCTOR WHO: THE LOST DIMENSION will begin this August with a super-accessible Alpha issue from writers George Mann (Eleventh Doctor), and Cavan Scott (Ninth Doctor), with art by Rachael Stott (Twelfth Doctor) and Rod Fernandes!
With three phenomenal covers including a very special embossed foil TARDIS cover, a photo cover by Will Brooks, and a multi-Doctor mash-up by Rachael Stott and Luis Guerrero, this is one event Whovians will not want to miss!
Look out for more exciting reveals as to special guest characters, all-new writers and artists making their mark on the storyline, and more hints to the future, in the days and weeks to come!
Doctor Who is under license from BBC Worldwide North America.

May 24th, 2017 - 3:33amThis event seems a bit more promising. Not so sure about personifying the Void into a monster, but it could be interesting. Hopefully the authors can handle a mega cast, between the Doctors and how many companions carry on.
The real danger to this series is the cluster-Time Ram that ensues from Titan’s publishing/distribution blues. Supremacy of the Cyberman dragged way too long after their publishing dropped the ball completely on a regular schedule.
Also, when do we get more 8th Doctor comics? Or a mini-series for the other five classic Doctors.
