I got this before from Tesco, the humour strips this issue are hilarious. I burst out laughing at ‘The Board Games’ in Frankie and Benny’s.

It’s getting rather complex now what with ‘Tales from the TARDIS’ Issue 1 having mucked up the continuity of the Tenth and Twelfth Doctor comic series, but according to the back page of Volume 2 Issue 4, in Issue 5 we’re getting the first part of the Eleventh Doctor tale “Conversion” (the page says ‘Part 2’, but since we got “Four Dimensions” in Issue 4, I’d imagine this was yet another typo) as well as the second instalment of the Twelfth Doctor’s “The Hyperion War”, meaning that “Unearthly Things” (which should have slotted in between “Gangland” and “The Hyperion War” for the Twelfth) is seemingly being skipped for now while the Tenth’s comic-book escapades continue over in ‘Tales from the TARDIS’.

As someone who’s followed ‘Doctor Who Comic’ since Volume 1 Issue 1, I’m becoming quite vexed at the notion of having to shell out not only £3.99 for a compilation which now features 1 less Doctor than was originally promised as a USP of the publication AND another £3.99 to get the Doctor we’re now missing (the Tenth)’s adventures along with presumably the Ninth, Eighth and Fourth Doctor series in time as well. Naturally, I realize that Titan are simply trying to provide UK fans with as many of their regular series as possible in these publications for those like myself who don’t want to shell out £10+ for each of the individual Doctor’s multiple volumes, but I’d certainly appreciate it if the publishers shed at least a little more light on their strategy going forward rather than asking for reader input when I’ll all but certain most followers of ‘DWC’ and ‘Tales’ just want a more consistent structure for the two magazines.

Supposedly it’s ‘Conversion’ Part 2 11th. Doctor & ‘The Hyperion Empire’ Part 2 12th. Doctor. Not sure if they will add Part 3 of either story to broaden the comic out? See my comments below on the current foul-ups.

I am going to write to them about all of this and hopefully we will get all of the right comics

I think in the back it says part 2 of conversion as in this issue it has two eleventh doctor parts with one being Four Dimensions and the other being part 1 of Conversion and on the cover of this issue it calls the eleventh doctor story conversion. I also think it is stupid that they missed out unearthly things and then moved the tenth doctor stories to tales of the tardis

How come they skipped Unearthly Things?

Because it’s an absolute mess that’s why! Last Issue has a List of Strips (Issue 3) for this Issue & one of them was “Unearthly Things” This Issue # 4 hit’s the shops with totally different strips & the 10th. Doctor missing (Obviously pushed over to “Tales From The Tardis”) so all the info listed was totally incorrect. Starting to get a bit miffed with these! I can handle them being chronologically incorrect & out of sequence, but I do wish they could make a better effort to give correct information & clearer strip titles. It’s starting to get hard to keep up with all the mistakes!
