February 2nd, 2013 - 2:27pmThe CB micro figures are aimed at kids, whereas these are aimed at the vinyl figure collector market, which is predominantly adults.

January 31st, 2013 - 11:19amI have the comon Doctor fogure with his red shirt. I quite like these actually, but I bought this one loose and would probably do the same for any others I wanted to get. They’re a bit too expensive to blind buy (about $15 each in Australia).
WEEPINGangel
January 31st, 2013 - 1:09pmwhere can you get them in Australia?
The Monitor
January 31st, 2013 - 5:54pmThe direction Doctor Who merchandise is going in the UK is wrong both commercially and from a collecting point of view.
We have these in blind packaging, many fans have not bothered because they just want a set rather than mess around for some time to get one. Older fans are increasingly intolerant of the £2 blind packaged CB figures or packs of cards, let alone these.
Also we have a massive interest in CB/UT collectors sets but only one shop chain in the UK sells 3Drs set; FPI. Even if it were FPI and FP that would be something.
Ridiculous

February 1st, 2013 - 3:44amI got mine at a collector’s fair, but our Australian distributer is stocking them, so I guess ABC Stores and other retailers will get them eventually. http://www.ikoncollectables.com.au/p10416/Doctor_Who_-_Titans_Mini_Figures_Series_1_(Display_of_20)/product_info.html

December 28th, 2012 - 12:28pmJust my opinion but I got my hands on a few of these and wow – what rubbish! Save your money folks. These are way over priced and frankly awful.
The comment about a dog’s chew toy is spot on and I’d be pushed to pay more than £2.00 for them.
The secret figures that i’ve seen are;
Green eyes Ood
Green windows Tardis

January 25th, 2013 - 7:46amDecember 2012/January 2013 depending on where you live. Although by the end of january early febuary they will start being easier to find as most stores that willstock them will have recived and displayed the stock. I got two back at the doctor who symphonic spectacular and they’re rather nice quality the only bad thing is the daleks eyestalk, ‘whisk’ and ‘plunger’ are hard to fit in the little holes and come out easily, but some glue could fix that I’m sure.

waaaaghlord
July 20th, 2012 - 8:01pmI see there’s a bit of complaining about the price of these. Comparing them to the Character offerings they may seem expensive, but the price is in line with other vinyl figures of a similar size. These really aren’t being aimed at kids, they fit more under the designer toys tag and are geared more for adult collectors so between the different material and what I’d expect to be much lower production runs than other DW lines production costs on these will be relatively high. I’d only expect to find them through specialist stores and online

July 16th, 2012 - 10:53pmDoubt it would be Amy and Rory, by early 2013 it would more likely be Clara, maybe with River as well if you were looking for anotehr companion.

July 17th, 2012 - 8:57pmThe captions say TARDIS, Cyberman and Ood.
The other one is a Doctor but I can’t make out the number before it so it could be another Doctor entirely, or it could be a variant of the Eleventh.
Mels
July 18th, 2012 - 9:58amThey shouldn’t be ‘super rare’ like Character Building. Previous lines from this company seem to have the rares as 1 in 30 figures (though they could change it of course).
Anonymous
July 18th, 2012 - 3:39pmIf there’s twenty figures and in theory 16 figures, then there could be 12 “rare” figures and 4 “common” figures.
I’d suspect the four common ones will be the ones that also have variants but that is jsut a suspicion.
Mels
July 19th, 2012 - 10:26amI am completely guessing based on the available info, but I think there are 12 figures and two ‘rare’ figures.
If this is the same company that does the UFC vinyl figures, they had gold-painted figures as the ‘rares’ in those sets. So they may be gold/silver/clear variants, as someone else guessed already.
Judooning
July 16th, 2012 - 6:18pmSo FP won’t be listing these individually.
I might buy 1 every now and then. I’m not going hunting for them.
£7.99 is far to much for something that you don’t know what your getting.
