Just saying; there would not be a picture of Capaldi if this set didn’t include it. The set will definitely include; Eleventh Doctor in purple coat, Handles, the Sonic Screwdriver (here’s hoping it’s closed), a walking stick, an old age Eleventh Doctor head, and definitely some for of Twelfth Doctor – whether it be just a head, or a whole figure.

You all know how secretive CO/UT are! Its something I find puzzling and annoying. People like Robert Harrop and Big Chief announce what they are bringing out before its even finished, well in advance. CO would say they can’t as the actor may want more money or it harms the line.
As the Third Doctor would say “Arrant Nonsense”.

We don’t know yet the info is very confusing

It is more likely going to two bodies as then then the only permanent peice would be the legs and I can’t see that happening

    • Anonymous

      June 22nd, 2014 - 12:20pm

      I suspect 1 body, 2 interchangeable collar/waistcoats and 3 heads.

From a selfish perspective, I hoping for that as it will keep the cost of the set down. I appreciate that some fans display all the figures and will then feel they have to buy the set 3 times.

    • 100000BC

      June 22nd, 2014 - 1:46pm

The options as I see it are:
2 bodies, one without bow tie, and the three heads
1 body, swappable waistcoat/shirt (one with and one without bow tie) and 3 heads
1 body with removable bow tie and 3 heads
1 body with removable bow tie or swappable waistcoat and both 11th Doctor heads, compatible with a separately released Peter Capaldi figure’s removable head.

There will not be three bodies and I think the most likely version is one body and removable bow tie, although it is just my opinion.

I think there will be 2 bodies and 3 heads. First of all, this is called a ‘Figure Set’, which kind of implies it will be a set of figures. Secondly, in the list telling you what comes with the set, they would’ve included ’12th Doctor Head’, not just ’12th Doctor’. Also, the specks of white on the coat don’t match up on the two figures. Lastly, they would’ve said that the figure included ‘Interchangeable waistcoats’, which they haven’t.

There’s only one body and it’s called a set because of the accessories and it could just be a removable bow tie

    • Pigbin Josh

      June 22nd, 2014 - 10:15am

It’s called a figure set, not a figure and accessories set. Also, ‘Guest’, if you want to provide proof that there is only one body, go for it.

    • Matty

      June 22nd, 2014 - 10:22am

We’ll I think it’s only one body because it says 12th doctor, young and aged 11th doctor heads

    • booboo

      June 22nd, 2014 - 10:24am

as i have said that’s our points based on the pictures

the official “blurb” doesn’t even mention the 12th Doctor at all

      official description

DOCTOR WHO TIME OF THE DOCTOR AF SET

Presented here is the eleventh Doctor in his iconic final long frock coat. The “Time of the Doctor” figure set comes with with young and “aged” 11th Doctor heads plus walking cane, Sonic Screwdriver and Handles accessories. The set is presented in a TARDIS inspired gift box with opening front panels.

    • Pigbin Josh

      June 22nd, 2014 - 10:26am

    • Pigbin Josh

      That was for ‘Matty’.

    • Pigbin Josh

      June 22nd, 2014 - 10:29am

Also, ‘Guest’, when ‘The Other Doctor’ was released, did they call that ‘The Other Doctor Figure Set’ due to there being a few accessories? No, they didn’t.

    • Whovastron

      June 22nd, 2014 - 10:44am

That is an interesting point booboo, what if there isn’t even a 12th doctor head?! And that’s showing off that you can swap it with the head of a future 12th Doctor release. Maybe on the back of the box that image will have the caption ‘compatible with the 12th doctor action figure!’
Would make more sense IMO lol

    • booboo

      June 22nd, 2014 - 10:49am

      ha, dont thinks so though

i think this has just been released with confusing info deliberately to get everyone talking

    • Haza14

      June 22nd, 2014 - 10:47am

Yeah, but the Ace figure announced is called a ‘Figure Set’ and this has only one figure and a few accessories. I don’t think you can read to much into this!

    • The Other

      June 22nd, 2014 - 4:58pm

The official blurb sounds very much like this is an 11 in 7b gear with aged head, and if Capaldi is included then he is another figure in the set
The other option is that the pictured Capaldi comes in another set, with costumed Capaldi, like the 11th Doctor crash set, which maybe the SDCC exclusive, or part of “going out with a bang”
