Finally Got Mine yesterday after waiting for months and months! What a figure. The box was smaller than expected but that made it better some how. I just love the old doctor head sculpt! It’s amazingly detailed and the Handles accessory just brings it all together. Wonderful, Amazing Figure. Well worth the money and the wait!!!

Less than £10!?!? That would be impossible for them to do, they would make pretty much zero profit probably. Other than that, i hope so!

if its cheaper more people would buy it
I think £30 is way to much for 1 figure
if it was a set of 3 figures than maybe

    • DS

      November 26th, 2014 - 7:38pm

Definitely serious face and single top button buttoned – white shirt and cardigan!
I agree doubt it would be £10 but doesn’t need to be £30 the War Doctor was £14.99 🙂

Went into my closest forbidden planet yesterday and there were 3 of these sets. My mom bought one but I’m not allowed it until Christmas! The box was surprisingly small, I almost didn’t spot it – tiny compared to the impossible sets displayed next to it. One weird thing though, that forbidden planet had loads of war doctor sonic screwdrivers! Now I know I’ve got this set in the bag, I’m even more determined to get my hands on the infamous war doctor figure! That’s why I’m asking my dad to get it me for Christmas!

I had an extra one on order from Entertainment Earth and I was notified that they wouldn’t have in stock till January. They didn’t give a reason. I think it’s strange and a bit unfair for people who ordered through them. I wonder if they are going to have a lot of cancellations?

I got mine in the US in 5 days from Popcultcha. It was well worth it. I’ve had it for over 3 months. I ordered it right when it came out there when they were having a publicity thing. Don’t worry. Should be soon. I would think it would get to the UK quicker than the U.S.

Well Auspost said Airmail to the UK takes (usually) 3-10 days, Popcultcha said 7-14 so 8 is around the middle! And 8 days is tomorrow! So I expect it’ll arrive then, hopefully.

I just received mine today. No customs charge. Exactly 1 week from Popcultcha. Pretty pleased with it. Not worth £32-£33, but just about worth the £25-26 it cost me from Oz.

its a brilliant set but i think over prices by at least £5, the big problem here is that many people would normally but 2 if not 3 sets but have thought twice on this occation

if they have to be at this price level than may be an offer or something from FP would go down well if at all viable

Personally I think it looks great. Its gonna look great in my collection. I keep all my figures and memorabilia in their original boxes. This set does exactly what it says on the box and its a pretty accurate representation of what Matt Smith looked like in Time of the Doctor, although I’m pretty sure his boots didn’t look like they do on the figure in the episode (please correct me if I’m wrong). I don’t think it was worth £30 though.
