Because Capaldi is leaving in the 2017 Christmas special, does that mean the Series 10 boxset won’t be out till around this time next year? Makes sense to include a Doctor’s last story in the preceding series.

COMPLETE SERIES 10: 12 Episodes, 2 Christmas specials. My prediction.

Does anyone know the name of the typeface font used on the cover for “THE RETURN OF DOCTOR MYSTERIO”, would love to use it for custom DVD cover-designing!

I think this whole special will be a dream that Nardole has while under anaesthetic while his head is stitched back on…

Doctor who went down hill in season 9 and this doesn’t really scream The Doctor….I sure hope season 10 turns out ok. i own every available episode from Hartnell to Capaldi and didn’t bother purchasing season 9 which is terrible.

Series 9 wasn’t brilliant but it wasn’t bad. Series 6 was worse in my opinion as there wasn’t one episode I liked in that series and with Series 9 I enjoyed episodes like Under the Lake/Before the Flood and Heaven Sent. I agree with you, there is nothing about this special that screams Doctor Who to me at all, if it wasn’t for the program’s name or the TARDIS I would mistake it for any other program if I was a person who had never seen the show before. There is also nothing to get me excited for it, Series 9 ended with no cliffhanger to get viewers excited for Series 10, I guess bringing back Gallifrey didn’t help as that story arc could’ve lasted a lot longer.

I think that Doctor Who hasn’t felt like Doctor Who since series 7A. All 7B series and series 9 have done is look back at itself and say ‘Omg, I am so good’ and pander to a fan audience that is slowly getting fed up and turning their backs on it.

This had better not be the final cover, we have little 12 merchandise as it is.

I think this is the Final cover, as the box art doesn’t say TBC or anything like that. It sorta reminds me of the series 9 and ‘the Husbands of River song’ dvd art, those where also just their promo posters.

I really hope that isn’t the final cover. I know it says TBC but with last Christmas and Husbands of river song it WAS these covers :’-(
