September 28th, 2014 - 8:21pmShould also do classic ones for Jon through to Sylvester and have two Tom ones (Vol 1: 12 – 15, vol 2: 16-18)

September 17th, 2014 - 9:04pmIf only a DVD version and a – lets do one for the UK – I would glad fully buy this my mother so she has Matt Smith lent em off me and just stared into space at the cover.

September 5th, 2014 - 5:27pmHave e-mailed BBC to get them to release in UK.

September 6th, 2014 - 8:27amWhy? All the material has already been released. Its a straight repackaging job.

September 16th, 2014 - 4:05pmIf they’re as quick with this as they are with the David Tennant set it should be out in 2017
Destroyer of Worlds
August 24th, 2014 - 9:03amWhy has it got Oswin on it not Clara?
The Tardis and The Docto
August 23rd, 2014 - 6:36pmWish is was release in the Uk
James A
August 23rd, 2014 - 3:16pmThey should do boxsets for Doctors 3-7 now, seeing as they have all been released onto DVD now.
8 would literally be just be max 2 discs (unless they include Night of the Doctor
9 would be just Series 1 re-released.
And 1-2 still have nearly 100 episodes missing.
theHAWKeatsFORKS
September 1st, 2014 - 4:40pmThey should do box sets.
Kevin
August 23rd, 2014 - 7:58amIt’s a nice set for anyone who hasn’t gotten any of Matt’s run yet. Unfortunately, I just got the Series 1-7 Blu Ray set last year. I was hoping that we’d get the 50th Anniversary set you guys in the UK are getting. Instead, they’re putting the bonus disc you guys are getting in that set in this set over here. It appears they’re substituting “The Science of Doctor Who” special for the two-part “Death of the Doctor” story from “The Sarah Jane Adventures.”
Steve
September 20th, 2014 - 6:59pmYou get far more extras than we get in the UK, so you can’t really complain can you? No sign of the 90 minute version of the 2013 Proms on any of UK releases! It’s the UK that should get everything first anyway! It is a UK programme, paid for by UK license payers after all!
the astronaut of death
August 23rd, 2014 - 2:06amI was just about to say why have they not done an eccelston years boxset then I just remembered he only had one season 🙂
Doctor Who Crazy Ross
August 23rd, 2014 - 2:10amI was gonna say that below too but then I was like “it would basically just be the series one box set re-released in different packaging”
Doctor Who Crazy Ross
August 23rd, 2014 - 1:51amIt would have been nice if people who are in the UK could have had the option for the Matt Smith Years and David Tennant years box sets…
Doctor Who Crazy Ross
August 23rd, 2014 - 1:52amAlso, I like how the DVD artwork

August 21st, 2014 - 8:12pmNot that I have plans to buy this – but it is annoying me that there are two Supreme and two Eternal Daleks on the cover… there is only one of each in the show.
ALYX
August 22nd, 2014 - 12:51pmThere’s only one Eternal Dalek on the cover. The other I believe is an orange Scientist Dalek.
Sam Richard Bentley
August 22nd, 2014 - 1:00pmPretty sure it’s Yellow. I could be wrong, but from what I can see that one at the far back is yellow. Nonetheless thetr should only be one Supreme.
A New Dalek Paradigm
August 22nd, 2014 - 1:20pmThere is definitely 2 Supreme’s and Eternal’s on that cover. The Scientist is no where to be seen.
StormOfOncomers
August 22nd, 2014 - 1:40pmEternal has black globes, Scientist has grey ones.
I’m pretty certain that’s a Scientist back there.
Still doesn’t excuse showing 2 Supreme Daleks though…
Trenzalore
August 22nd, 2014 - 1:47pmI don’t think there’s just one Supreme Dalek so it isn’t a huge problem but I would have thought they’d have put two Drones there instead.
Sam Richard Bentley
August 23rd, 2014 - 9:48amOf course there is only one Supreme! He is the leader of the Daleks, there is only one! Why would you have two supreme Daleks? They’d just bicker about who was the true leader of the Daleks all the time. xD
Trenzalore
August 26th, 2014 - 6:35pmThey’ve been in many different stories, this suggests they are leaders of ranks or specific operations. Not forgetting the many other supreme Daleks we’ve seen throughout who history.
Of course I could be wrong, this is just my guess from what we’ve seen.

August 21st, 2014 - 1:46pmWhy don’t things like this get released in the uk?!its briellent when the US get priority…..again.I understand that it’s to do with sales and bbc worldwide has a lot to do with it.But it’s a bit unfair for uk fans

August 21st, 2014 - 9:29pmIts down to the American publisher being a 3rd party (warner brothers I believe). It would be down to them id assume. Don’t understand why people get angry about these sets. Its just a repackaging of the original releases. All been released before. If it had exclusive stuff id agree but its all stuff that’s available already. It may look nice but I buy something for the content not how pretty it looks
Dominic Kane
August 21st, 2014 - 12:43pmwhat about UK?
gordon
August 21st, 2014 - 1:42pmGuessing not as the David Tennant one wasn’t

August 21st, 2014 - 11:56amWhy is Matt in his old Costume? Really don’t that costume, which prefer the dark blue one!But apart from that looks well done!
Doctor Stu
August 21st, 2014 - 2:25pmIt’s because it’s his trademark costume from series 5, 6 and 7 so it’s the outfit that most people associate with matt smith
Grey and Blue
August 21st, 2014 - 5:24pmIts not dark blue. Its a custom dark Purple Tweed frock coat. I do prefer the long purple look to the tweed I agree but the tweed was used for longest therefore its the most iconic. Same with capaldi if his costume changes from series to series everyone will remember the Crombie with the red lining.
theHAWKeatsFORKS
August 21st, 2014 - 8:01pmartwork looks to be done in style of series 6
the astronaut of death
August 21st, 2014 - 11:27amThis looks amazing
Chris
August 21st, 2014 - 10:54amit’s a shame the pictures on the discs are random and not related to the episodes on the discs themselves
100000BC
August 21st, 2014 - 1:06pmNo. If you look closely, you’ll see that it says “series 5” on the open page, even more closely and you will see two lists underneath each disc. Episodes and Special Features.
Weeping Angel = Eleventh Hour, Beast Below, Victory of the Daleks and the Time of Angels.
Silurian Restac = Flesh and Stone, the Vampires of Venice, Amy’s Choice, The Hungry Earth, Cold Blood
Vincent = Vincent and the Doctor, the Lodger, the Pandorica Opens, the Big Bang.
Therefore ALL of the discs must have a character/characters from at least one of their episodes.

100000BC
August 21st, 2014 - 1:01pmIt is a blu-ray, actually, which is higher quality and cannot be played in normal DVD players (I think… not much of an expert myself).
