@Bryan – This looks like these are the 1995 abridged novels read by Jon Pertwee and originally released by BBC Audio which contained no Dalek voices on Planet of the Daleks so doubt they would be added specifically for this release.

That my point. Pertwee says the Dalek Dialogue , but not as Dalekey as could be.

yes These were the cassettes released in the stone age, they only ever got the MP3 collection releases which were expensive then And Now ,even if they did have 20+hours of stuff. No solo CDs. I think the Target Unabridged releases were around too late to reissue them

If they do 5th and 6th and 8th abridged, with bonuses It’s a lovely vinyl treat.

They were both released in the Tales of the Tardis sets which were released as MP3 sets… and later on as CD sets. So these have been on CD before. If this is a straight forward reissue, they wouldn’t monkey around with the original audio one would assume.

      Hi Andy R.

Yes the cassettes then MP3 Cd. but not stand alone CDS, util this release. Even then its not solo, but in a Collection. . None of the “Doctors actors” reading got solo release. Just the Cassettes and the MP3 Cds ,which I recall being expensive at the time.

Be interesting what “Extras” they could put on for Peter Davison. Colin and Paul have short trip readings by the BBC(I think our were they companions reading ?. I know they weren’t BF audios)

I’m not well acquainted by the Skivers sketch ,I assume it was on At….The BBC Release.

I found this Vinyl breakdown on a US website.
Doctor Who and the Curse of Peladon Part One / Goodwood Races Mini-Drama
    2. Doctor Who and the Curse of Peladon Part Two / Profile Interview
    3. Doctor Who and the Curse of Peladon Part Three / Newsbeat Interview
    4. Doctor Who and the Curse of Peladon Part Four / Simon Bates Interview
    5. Doctor Who and the Planet of the Daleks Part One / the Skivers Comedy Sketch
    6. Doctor Who and the Planet of the Daleks Part Two / Local Radio Interview
    7. Doctor Who and the Planet of the Daleks Part Three / Radio Lives Tributes
    8. Doctor Who and the Planet of the Daleks Part Four / Who Is the Doctor?

“I cross the void beyond the mind. The empty space that circles time… Eternal wisdom is my guide. I am the Doctor!” Demon Records celebrates Jon Pertwee’s flamboyant portrayal of the famous Time Lord, 55 years after he made his screen debut on 3 January 1970. Available on Blue and 4 x Blue and Green Vinyl, with a beautifully illustrated cover, this set presents Jon Pertwee narrating two classic Doctor Who Target Books, an array of bonus Jon Pertwee audio appearances, and his own 1972 pop single, Who Is The Doctor? Doctor Who and the Curse of Peladon is Brian Hayles’ abridged TV novelisation set on a medieval-style world, and Doctor Who and the Planet of the Daleks is Terrance Dicks’s abridged adaptation of the Terry Nation adventure set on the jungle-like Spiridon. Bonus features are also included on each disc spanning the 1970s to the 1990s, including BBC radio interviews, a Goodwood Races sketch with Elisabeth Sladen, comedy featuring Mel Giedroyc, and tributes paid by family members and Doctor Who producers. This also includes a frameable photographic print of the Third Doctor. Accompanied by the BBC Radiophonic Workshop’s familiar Doctor Who theme, the Jon Pertwee Collection celebrates one of the most stylish, iconic and beloved Doctors of all.

Hope it’s OK to post booboo. Very nice set. (When we can order it )

Interesting to see what this will include. My first thought was it’s similar to the Tom Baker set and would also get a vinyl release but Ghosts of N Space and Paradise of Death have already been done.
Unless it’s Planet of the Daleks and Curse of Peladon?

I expected one of the stories, but not both. Interesting the CD is Edsel rather than Demon or BBC Studios.

I had wondered if modulation was improved for the Daleks or even new Dalek voices by NB. but within being Edsel ,it’s the cheaper end of the market.

I like you Alan still can’t buy the Vinyl Edition. Even though it’s been updated to add the Cover. very odd.
