Doctor Who The Evil of the Daleks 2nd Doctor Audio CD
Available to order from www.amazon.co.uk
Young astrophysicist Zoe wishes to join Jamie and the Doctor on their travels. To give her fair warning of the dangers she may face, the Doctor uses a mind projector to share one of their most harrowing adventures…
And so, Jamie is forced to relive his struggle against the evil Daleks at their most powerful and calculating. In a complex plot that drags him from modern-day London to Victorian times and finally to the Dalek world of Skaro, he endures ordeals that test his courage, strength – and his friendship with the Doctor – to the limit…
An inventive new retelling of one of Doctor Who’s all-time classic TV stories from Frazer Hines, who starred as the show’s longest-running companion, Jamie McCrimmon.

August 7th, 2023 - 4:06pmThere can’t be many Target readings left now ? It seems ages since the last one was released. I’m hoping for the two Mara stories.
After that, what’s missing ?
An Unearthly Child
The Celestial Toymaker
Evil Of The Daleks (Peel)
The Loch Ness Monster
Destiny Of The Daleks
Horns Of Nimon
Planet Of Fire
So close to the end.

May 26th, 2023 - 6:40pmIgnore me. I’ve just seen the ad for the hard back book.
Hmm. Interesting. I’m a bit proprietorial over this story as the repeated version was the first Who story I remember watching all of and being both mesmerised and terrified in equal measure. I’ve got snatches of memory of some Season 5 stories, but this one I watched from start to end.
I really hope Fraser has done a good job. The Peel book is ok, from memory. Didn’t it have lots of meta stuff added ?
Anyway, as someone else mentioned, hopefully the Peel version release won’t be affected. There can’t be many of these readings left now. I guess the hurdle will be An Unearthly Child 🙁

May 26th, 2023 - 8:59pmPower had more retro additions than evil, but evil was a bit repetitive with the Edward waterfield worrying about Victoria (it felt like everytime Edward appeared he remembered poor Victoria!) However both peel books are good and long overdue a reprint. Not an audio but an actual reprint!

May 26th, 2023 - 6:34pmWhat is this ??? I initially thought it was the Peel book. Haven’t heard of any other versions. So, who wrote this ? Seems odd to release this and not the Peel. Especially as Power had not been long out.

May 25th, 2023 - 4:33pmI hope this doesn’t hurt any chances of the John Peel novel getting an audio reading.

May 24th, 2023 - 8:41pmLooking forward to hearing this from the prospective of Jamie and read by Frazer should be interesting and a good intro using the introduction piece when Zoe joined the Tardis.

May 25th, 2023 - 3:10pmGenerally, the importing costs are surprisingly nill. My Amazon.com account works on Amazon.co.uk. And Amazon.co.uk used to send books on CD to America. It’s how I got my last one, The Power Of The Daleks. Last time, there were no extra costs for shipping to the US. Which always surprised me that Amazon.co.uk never charged any overseas shipping costs. I’ve ordered a few items that only Amazon.co.uk have had, like the Special Edition of The Power Of The Daleks DVD. And Amazon.co.uk have never charged me for overseas shipping. Which, as I’ve said, always surprised me. That might have changed since last year, though.

I’ll definitely be getting this. Will have to import it, though.
