October 3rd, 2017 - 7:44amWell it’s set after Journey’s End and after the other Jackie Short Trip coming out so it’s not really a stretch to believe that she just wanted to change her hair at one point.

October 3rd, 2017 - 6:39pmEither it’s not actually Jackie or she just decided to change it after losing a friend. It even says in the description “Jackie Tyler isn’t who she was…”. That to me is probably why she cut it. Big changes sometimes make people cut their hair as a fresh start.

October 3rd, 2017 - 8:05pmWell the friend she lost is clearly the proper Doctor, that much is true from the description. I think it’s different purely to show the passage of time, this will be the latest point in Jackie’s life that we will have seen at the time this comes out so I’m not surprised if they want to change her look up a bit. I mean, she’s a mum again, she’s got her husband back and she’s working for a government organisation, she’s probably gone beyond the chav look now.
