Doctor Who: Shada (Hardcover)
Doctor Who: Shada (Hardcover)
From the unique mind of Douglas Adams, the legendary ‘lost’ Doctor Who story completed at last!
The Doctor’s old friend and fellow Time Lord Professor Chronotis has retired to Cambridge University – where nobody will notice if he lives for centuries.
But now he needs help from the Doctor, Romana and K-9. When he left Gallifrey he took with him a few little souvenirs – most of them are harmless. But one of them is extremely dangerous.
The Worshipful and Ancient Law of Gallifrey isn’t a book for Time Tots. It is one of the Artefacts, dating from the dark days of Rassilon.
It must not be allowed to fall into the wrong hands. And the sinister Skagra most definitely has the wrong hands. He wants the book. He wants to discover the truth behind Shada. And he wants the Doctor’s mind…
Based on the scripts for the original television series by the legendary Douglas Adams, Shada retells an adventure that never made it to the screen.

December 1st, 2011 - 11:55amthey want hitchhiker’s guide to the galaxy fans to see it pick it up, think it’s a new hitchiker’s and buy it. Then, when they find out it’s not they’ll just read it anyway as it’s by the same author. Then they’ll like it and the store will order more. That’s more money.

December 6th, 2011 - 10:22pmThere are 5 of them, not 4.
I’m surprised at the little knowledge on Douglas Adams. A mere few months back, I was given a sheet in english filled with books and writers recommended to read, and Adamns was on there. To believe he isn’t known…

January 27th, 2012 - 9:39pmI am 12 years old and now Douglas Adams, HG Wells and Asimov and absolutely HATE modern music!!!!
the TARDIS
June 27th, 2012 - 6:59pm5 if you include Mostly Harmless. Or the Salmon of Doubt. The fact is, the Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy is probably the hardest book series to define in numbers.
