Can’t say I’m too impressed with 2022 Dr who calendar.
Same pictures as this years , apart from the fugitive.
Still ill be receiving this one for Christmas and hope 2023 will be a slightly better calendar, and with it coming up to the doctors 60th , I’m hoping for brilliant merchandise.

Shame they couldn’t add the Valeyard as he’s the doctor too and the Curator

I see they’ve made the seventh Doctor June again rather than July. Would have preferred that the first Doctor was December 2021 rather than an image of every month. It’s so you can’t buy it early and not have Whitaker on show.

Things are starting to look a little crowded now when you show ALL the Doctors lol.
I remember a time when there were only five of them! Soon there will be another.

Like the look of this Calendar. Rather than just Photoshopping the Doctors an artist as done a superb job of designing this.

The cover re-uses a set of images created by an artist (I forget the name but the Figurine Collection mentioned it in a recent magazine), they were commissioned by the Beeb for licensees. The 2020 adano calendar used them, one per month (the Fugitive Doctor has been added since). They look great. You can (or could) buy art prints of each one at one point but IIRC they were limited to 50 copies of each and not much change from £100).

Yeah, it looks like the BBC provides sets of images that all licensees can use on their products. The images of the Doctors came from a set they released a year or two ago, which has been my PC’s wallpaper since then! I’m not a huge fan of this set of comic-style backgrounds, which also seem to be a generic set the BBC are providing. I actually just bought a T-shirt from Hot Topic, with all of the comic-style art on one piece. They also sell shirts with each Doctor’s comic art on them.
