Tenth overall actually. A Christmas Carol, the Spring run (7 episodes) and then this is the second of the Autumn run.

hi i made a davros custom by taking the smilers legs and left arm off and taking the dalek supreme
appart so theres only the bottom up to the wepons
take the wepons(plunger and egg wisk)off and put the smiler on 🙂

Instead of super rares they could give each character a piece of a figure , a bit like collect
and build . Comment you favourite from the choice in the list below for what you would like if they would make a collect and build in series 2.
    Here are the 10 ideas:
    Sontaran Commander
    Slitheen
    Amelia
    Dalek(bronze)
    Madame Vastra
    Madame Kovarian
    Impossible Astronaut
    Ganger(Jennifer)
    Idris
    Ood (Nephew)

I don’t think that would work in this type of thing due to the blind bag nature so you could end up with lots of one half of a figure. Just having more figures per wave would be a better idea.

    • /:)

      August 12th, 2011 - 9:40pm

I think they should do the astronaut
      Email them to surgest it
      Sorry for the spelling

    • Anonymous

      August 12th, 2011 - 10:02pm

But how would it work? I don’t think people liek getting stuck with doublers of figures never mind doublers of parts of incomplete figures. At least with the 5” range you can control the figure parts you get but this is jsut a poor idea I’m sorry to say, it’s a good idea on paper but in practice it would fail horribly.

    • /:)

      August 12th, 2011 - 10:07pm

Well for the company they may make more money but also it could help you to feel them such as you could feel two heads for instance so you would know it was that figure or you could feel two sets of legs and know what figure it was

Do you agree with me booboo

    • booboo

      August 12th, 2011 - 10:15pm

I see what you mean but i dont think it would work with blind bags, feeling the bags doest always work and where we are no one sells them, we have to order everything on-line so we would have to buy whole box just to make sure we got all the parts for the BAF figure – build a figures are fine if you know what you are getting (and you dont have to buy everything you already bought again just to get it, Vespiform!!!)

    • Anonymous

      August 12th, 2011 - 10:10pm

It wouldn’t work within these figures unfortunately, how about rather than having a BAF, the leaflet inside has a token/coupon/thing and if you collect say 20 you can get one of a selection of figures if you send away for it.

It’s been used countless times by lots of companies and removes the problem of spare parts.

    • Anonymous

      August 12th, 2011 - 10:36pm

Also another problem is, most figures are made of either 7 or 8 pieces so they would end up reducing the number of figures in the range to provide us with a BAF so it wouldn’t do us any good having it.

    • boo

      August 13th, 2011 - 10:18am

      thats a great idea 🙂

    • /:)

      August 13th, 2011 - 10:52am

Thanks I didn’t think about buying on the Internet or the number of parts in a figure but I really think the tokens are a good idea

    • The Last Centurion

      August 13th, 2011 - 10:55am

      August 15th, 2011 - 12:54am

actully in japan for pokemon figures zukan figures they do something like this but you got to get the complate wave and send them to a company and you may be lucky to get a prize called the lottery gift (every wave have them)
the normal size is 1 40 and the lottery prize would be 2 foot so do a lottery for these that would be good

  • Headless Monk

    August 12th, 2011 - 4:19pm

I think they should do a sja wave like this

Common: Sarah Jane Luke Clyde Mrs Wormwood
    Uncommon: Slitheen Rani Maria Androvax
    Rare: Sonataran Graske

Super Rare: Ruby Gita Blathereen Judoon

Sounds like a good idea but they gave up the SJA lisence after the 5” figures did poorly.

Stil they could release the ones that appeared in Doctor Who.

Probablly wouldn’t work normally. The classics (ie Doctors 1-10) have fallen out of favour with CO it appears. Our only real chance of getting them is if somewhere starts makign them as exclusives like FP do with the 5” range. Argos seems to be asking for exclusives, so perhaps somewhere else could to.

      Captain Jack without coat(super rare)
      Owen(super rare)
Suzie with swappable glove hand(super rare)
      Death(super rare)
      Sergeant Andy(super rare)

    • The Last Centurion

I would not make Owen a super rare.

    • doctorwhofan27

      August 13th, 2011 - 2:46pm

Yeah, they don’t have a regular Owen. People get mad at the super rares of characters we already have. But if Owen was super rare, there’d be even more of an outrage.

    • milesman1000

      August 14th, 2011 - 9:23am

i don,t think they would sell very well because torchwood is sought of aimed at adults and character building is mainly aimed at children but i have to say it is quite a good idea.

Actually there are three, the Doctor, Amy and the Silent. Everything else is from last years series except Rory (who isn’t from either series, the clothes have just been made up by CO).

    • King of the weevils

      August 15th, 2011 - 3:04am

The rory is from let’s kill hitler! The amy(police uniform) probably isn’t I guess but I only said that because she was in a Christmas carol and iTunes have it as a part of series 6 and(probably)when the series 6 boxset comes out they’ll include a Christmas carol and 2 entertain will class it as a part of series 6

Well, you can get a white Dalek now on Ebay for around £6.99 Also an Orange (Dalek that is!) for £29.99
Also Dr Who weekly had a figure pack taped to the cover, mine was a Serene Angle – 1 in 38 chances of getting it.
Amazon are also selling single figures, I got the Dalek control room with white Dalek for £6.99 including postage -Argos = £9.99
I don’t bother with the blind packs as am not lucky been buying single figures off Ebay.
There’s also a nice set featuring figures of all 11 doctors sets from around £22, single figures from £2.99.

But it doesn’t work liek that, there were rare figures in the HM Armed Forces range and they didn’t hide them on the packaging, and why would they make their “generic” Amy Pond a rare figure and not the “variant”.

I’m a bit worried by that competition on the CB site saying “so far there are five super rares” as it suggests there are going to be more. I hope they have a lot more this time than last time. Why not have five times the amount then there’s one in every box or so.

oh yeah but it would be very easy to make a roman rory just swap heads so then we just need a ragerdy doctor to go with them

No, it’s the wrong armour to make a Roman Rory after all he was a Centurion, not a soldier.
