January 30th, 2024 - 11:29amAnyone else notice that David’s wearing his shoes in that photo even though Ncuti was the only one wearing shoes after the bi-generation?

January 30th, 2024 - 1:06pmYup. They only filmed him barefoot if the camera shot would pick it up for the scenes.

January 27th, 2024 - 2:12pmThe writing in this magazine is terrible. Have never read such sycophantic drawl. The writer of the article on the Dooms Day multi media project makes out that this project was universally loved (it wasnt) and the greatest Doctor Who story ever (it wasnt).
Also there seems to be a tendency now for the magazine to fill the pages with large photos and very little text? The article (if you could call it that) on the Daleks colourisation had barely any text at all?
And I don’t understand why the new Doctor Who editor feels the need to have such large photos of himself in the editorial? Massive ego or what?

January 29th, 2024 - 10:16amI have also found the new editor’s pictures in their column each issue a slightly odd choice. Can’t recall ever really seeing that being done in any publication I’ve read before.
I will be passing on the Yearbook and have decided that issue 600 will be the last one I collect for the foreseeable. I originally bought the mag from 2011-2015 and then just picked up occasional issues until the big rebrand/relaunch in November ’22. I really enjoyed collecting it again during the anniversary year but feel it’s now time to stop again.

January 27th, 2024 - 8:13amWould love then to redo the History Book Partwork again. Missed a few last time apround. Maybe do the this time like the Collection form (seasons version instead of 2-4 episodes)

January 26th, 2024 - 5:33pmI think this normally comes out in December, but guessing it was delayed with the 60th anniversary. Only 2 specials in 2023 so I guess we will get 4 this year?
Excellent magazine though, well worth the wait.

January 26th, 2024 - 9:06pm@Richard – The Yearbook isn’t late – it was always planned to be released in January.
I think you’re looking for patterns where they’re aren’t any.
Richard
January 26th, 2024 - 10:04pmSubscribers get 3 extra magazines a year for their money….only 2 last year so guessing 4 this year? Definitely a pattern there! Lol

January 25th, 2024 - 12:43pmOn Page 81, there is reference to Doctor Who Chronicles 1971 too – didn’t think that that one had come out yet?
Harold Shand
January 26th, 2024 - 8:14amHopefully that will be next release, as I think its been over 6 months since last release. I had a feeling they had stopped the title.

January 26th, 2024 - 11:01ami thought the Doctor Who Chronicles was finished too i am not that keen on the Chronicles and there was a time that was the only special that would come out but having one and mixing it up with other stuff is ok with me

January 26th, 2024 - 2:46pmPersonally can’t wait for this! It’s the only Who magazine I’ve been following and was worried about the big gap since the last one! Would love to see late-Tom years, 80s, 1996 and 2013 if they keep continuing…

January 26th, 2024 - 9:02pm@Kevin225 – Doctor Who Chronicles 1971 have been officially announced….. until now!
Congratulations for spotting the reference. A lot of people missed it!

January 29th, 2024 - 5:08pmBit odd to be doing another Pertwee so soon when we have only one Tom Baker release so far. I would have thought 1977 would have been the next natural choice.
