December 16th, 2019 - 7:19pmPlease does anyone know if they’ve stopped doing the subscriber exclusive covers?
Not for the first time the one in the shops looks exactly the same as the subscriber copy I’ve received?

December 14th, 2019 - 10:05amEach month people list out the reasons they are not buying the magazine here. Has anybody tried writing to the magazine with that same feedback to see what they reply with or indeed.. If they improve it using the suggestions? The magazine post seems to be the only one where people comment consistently to say why they won’t buy the item.

December 14th, 2019 - 7:41pmthe only reason i am not buying the magazine is that i can not find the magazine in the shops

December 12th, 2019 - 10:51pm£6.99!!! Stopped getting this sometime ago as felt it had gone downhill only really like the comic strip which at some point now gets released anyway as a graphic novel

December 13th, 2019 - 2:51pmNext graphic novel is mistress of chaos. I stopped years ago as I’d rather use the magazine money to pay for a book. I just buy the graphic novels of the comic strip. They are the only graphic novels I buy.

December 12th, 2019 - 2:28pmDoctor Who Pantomimes of the 80’s sounds interesting. Will this include “The Twin Dilemma”, “Timelash”, “Trial Of A Timelord” and “Time and The Rani”?

December 12th, 2019 - 11:58amNot to be negative or anything, but I honestly can’t see many people buying these for much longer, £6.99 for a standard issue like this is way too steep.
The Flying Shark
December 12th, 2019 - 12:41pmI agree-£6 for a standard issue is too much anyway, never mind the extra pound for two extra pieces of paper, which let’s face it, is all the free gifts are. They really need to do something about value for money, it CANNOT be denied there is less content in it under Marcus Hearn than there was under Tom Spilsbury. No article runs for more than six pages now and the Fact of Fiction in particular is very rushed-the first 15 minutes of a story may be covered in depth, but the other thirty are skimmed over in two pages as that’s all they’ve got left. Please do some market research about what your readers want, and not just a standard “are you happy with DWM-yes/no” type survey.

December 12th, 2019 - 12:47pmStill good value compared to other comparable mags.
As to the argument there is Less Content. Surely with More shorter articles there are SAME PAGE COUNT there is MORE Content.
I like the new approach, when sometimes one article smoothes into the next. But for those who work or need sleep, big chunky 12 page jobs can be a bit of a Bust.

December 12th, 2019 - 12:49pmI hope we aren’t just paying for the poster and cards now the price has gone up.
Darren
December 12th, 2019 - 7:54pmI’ve always maintained that those choosing to buy from the newsagents, and paying a rising cover price, are subsidising the subscribers who pay half that. Doesn’t seem fair really, does it?
The Master
December 12th, 2019 - 8:41pmPerfectly fair, Subscribers are not paying the newsagent mark up, magazine distribution costs and possible no sale returns liability.

December 12th, 2019 - 10:50am£6.99 !!! its like they trying to stop sales
The Flying Shark
December 12th, 2019 - 10:15amI very much doubt that interview will be in depth-remember when DWM’s articles used to run to more than six pages maximum?
The Ergon
December 12th, 2019 - 9:18amNothing beyond Spyfall then. The episodes will trickle out at some point i suppose.
Sean Bassett
December 12th, 2019 - 9:18amSo…this was the midnight announcement then? Very disappointing. I wish Chibnall would actually look up the definition of what a ‘Spoiler’ is and stop placing these ridiculous embargoes on things that aren’t spoilers at all. There’s absolutely no reason why this DWM cover and info about the issue couldn’t have been revealed on Monday or Tuesday.
