Doctor Who Magazine Issue 500

The longest running TV-tie in magazine in the world, as recognised by Guinness World Records, reaches its 500th issue on Thursday 26 May 2016!

Doctor Who Magazine, which began life as Doctor Who Weekly in October 1979, has continued to grow and thrive ever since, becoming an essential read for die-hard Doctor Who fans and general viewers alike.     Got it today. I think the first issue I bought since… about 4 years ago? Not usually a DWM fan but, come on, it’s the 500th issue, how could I say no? 😀

    I still remember buying the very first issue when I was 12. I kept the free transfers for ages but when I moved house in 1991, I lost the whole collection ….. 🙁

    It’s kind of weird how long this has been running, yet it’s still only on it’s 500th issue, probably because it’s monthly
