I feel caves androzani is over rated

In the past it has been voted the best classic episode . and it is not that great

Agreed, and anyway, what is so great about that story anyway ?.

I saw Caves of Androzarni once years ago on UKTV Gold I think the channel was, and I found it utterly boring. You wouldn’t even find it in my DVD Collection of Doctor Who stories.

Only good thing about it as far as I can see was the regeneation, the rest of the story, yawnnnn, give me Genesis of the Daleks, the real No.1 story anyday 🙂

yeah he caves of androzani on horror a thew weeks ago and it was just boring! the regeneration was good but like you said you wouldn’t find it in my dvd collection either! but genesis of the daleks is great so far as part 3 and 4 are on horror tonight! but episode 2 had a shocking cliff-hanger when sarah fell of the scaffolding!

hope twelvey meets some new villians in the comic as well as old ones keys of marinus fans may agree with voord reurning also daleks and cybermen

    • DalekAgent

      May 29th, 2014 - 7:49am

It would be good if a monster from the classic series who only appeared in one episode returned in the comic strip to fight the twelfth doctor like the Axons (The Claws of Axos) in The Golden Ones with the eleventh doctor and the Cavemen (An Unearthly Child) in Hunters of the Burning Stone also with the eleventh doctor

    • The TARDIS

      May 28th, 2014 - 6:44pm

I’d expect it to be The Day of the Doctor, just because of how much people seem to like it. I haven’t seen the results though, so I could well be wrong.

    • Cyber lords

      May 28th, 2014 - 6:48pm

If I am to be honest it comes no where near close near no. 1. However, that is because I am a classic who fan. In many classic fans opinion, new who is no where near as good.

    • The TARDIS

      May 28th, 2014 - 6:51pm

I agree, I do really like The Day of the Doctor and it is really good… But so much of Doctor Who is really good. Its in my top ten, but most of that is filled up with classic Who. Just my opinion though 🙂

    • the astronaut of death

      May 28th, 2014 - 6:58pm

my best episodes are blink and day of the doctor

    • Cyber lords

      May 28th, 2014 - 6:59pm

I saw the list and us classic fans will be lucky.

    • The TARDIS

      May 28th, 2014 - 7:08pm

      My top ten:
1: The Five Doctors. Love it! So many people just sort of harrumph, but it always makes me happy to be a fan.
2: Power of the Daleks. Or the War Games. difficult…
3: Logopolis. The only regeneration story which actually made me cry.
      4: City of a Death
5: Human Nature / The Family of Blood
6: The Day of the Doctor
7: The Two Doctors. Yes, I know what you’re thinking…
8: The Curse of Fenric. Or possibly Frontios. both criminally underrated, IMO.
      9: Planet of the Spiders
      10: The Daleks’ Masterplan

    • The TARDIS

      May 28th, 2014 - 7:09pm

Don’t know how many of those will crop up on the actual list, but I can live in hope.

    • Trenzalore

      May 28th, 2014 - 7:12pm

The two doctors is my favourite 6th doctor story. Apart from reducing Patrick Troughton to… well I don’t know really but it showed Troughton’s acting abilities even as he was getting on in age.
City of death is my favourite.

    • DalekAgent

It was a score out of ten that they’ll average across the voters, so you don’t “rank” them strictly speaking. You can have as many 10s or 1s as you want.

    • Trenzalore

      May 28th, 2014 - 4:04pm
