Official – Doctor Who Included in LEGO Dimensions
From The BBC..
We’re delighted to confirm there’ll be even more ways to enjoy the world of Doctor Who very soon! That’s because iconic elements from the Doctor’s universe will be included in LEGO Dimensions, the upcoming entertainment experience that merges physical brick building with interactive console gameplay.
An official instruction booklet for LEGO® Dimensions shows that Doctor Who Characters will be included in the toys-to-life project. The 12th Doctor, Tardis and K9 are shown in the booklet.
A Doctor Who Lego set based on the Lego ideas entry should also be released later this year.
The game brings together different “universes” including The LEGO Movie, Portal 2, Scooby Doo, Jurassic World, The Simpsons, Back to the Future, The Lord of the Rings, LEGO Ninjago, The Wizard of Oz and many more.
LEGO® Dimensions, due in 2015 is an upcoming action-adventure game developed by Traveller’s Tales and published by Warner Bros for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Wii U, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.

The Doctor
May 12th, 2015 - 6:24pmLego have been doing those Blind Bag Mini Figures, what are they on their 12th wave now? They did two waves for the Simpsons (So far) I’m hoping, with the rich variety in Doctor Who enemies, doctors and companions that they might see fit to make a wave of blind bagged Doctor Who minifigures
The Living Shadow
May 12th, 2015 - 7:42pmYess! That would be brilliant!

May 12th, 2015 - 8:13pmIt’s a nice thought, but while they are giving the LEGO Movie and Simpsons a fair share of blind bag waves, they’re more stingy with other licensed properties that kind of treatment due to crossing over on “action figure” territory with sole distribution of minifigures. Hasbro’s been giving them heat every time Star Wars figures have been close to being sold in packs of nothign but figures, and the running theory is that DC/Marvel properties hinge on sets containing notable hero characters to drive the bait for selling pricier models.
Doctor Who might get off easier, but it’s still hard to say at this point. Would be a good way to clear out doing all the Doctors since they may not be able to do their own set of the incarnations under one box, but it depends how strong their Ideas/Dimensions sets sell to show demand.
