Hello I’m just wondering if anyone has heard of an updated new release date for general sale for this issue? With the shops shut I was going to order through eaglemoss when it came in srock (I’ve had problems pre ordering from them before) but if the time lord set 2 Is sold out already that’s quite concerning. Thanks!

Ooo I’d love to see a macra, animated version or original prop, some other specials that would be nice are some tardis exteriors, fendahl, drashig, statue of liberty weeping angel, skithra, myrka, monk statue and saturnyne

In a reply to Gareth you can never have enough daleks and cybermen.everyone has their own opinion but I think the ratio is just about right as they are the two most recognisable monsters In doctor who. Also yes we do need other classic adversaries too.Just MORE daleks and cybermen please Neil.

Cybermen yes but no Daleks I am so board of Daleks every couple of seasons yes but not every season in the classic series the last 3 Doctor’s only came across once and 2 & 4 only twice

Have we not already had a Yeti Special Edition? New figures couldn’t possibly be that hard to to find for issue. Also we seem to receive too many Daleks and Cybermen. A bit of originality and more Classic figures wouldn’t go amiss.

Do you think they will make the new series 12 cybermen variants, such as the lone cyberman, and the other two cyber warriors?

We’ll probably get Ashad/The Lone Cyberman from The Haunting of Villa Diodata and then the new cyber design and the Cyber master/CyberTimelord from Ascension/The Timeless Children.

I may be alone on this but I think it would have been nice for collectors, considering the cost of these, to have been given a brand new figure rather than a different version of a character we’ve had before.

    • Alan Silvester

      February 28th, 2020 - 1:06pm

I agree with you. Considering the cost and the multitude of other monsters, I would prefer a brand new figure and not another variation. Same with all the Cybermen and Daleks. It’s getting lazy – errors in the magazines, still no sign of dalek plinth paid for months ago, delivery packaging a joke (my magazines are always creased). Hate to say it, but I think it has run its course and should stop at 200, before it goes completely downhill. Sorry, my opinion.

Anonymous aren’t you the guy who shouts down fans who criticise eaglemoss for their output ? Seems a bit odd you’re complaining now ?

    • dazzleshell

      March 1st, 2020 - 11:01am

For me the more daleks the better. That’s the main reason I subscribed. For the Cybermen as long as the pose is different, even if slightly it is okay too.

As for the specials they are optional so if you don’t like one just don’t order it. And for those thinking it has run it’s course. Why not unsubscribe and buy just the figurines you want direct from fp or eaglemoss.

That really is such a good paint job, and the detail and pose too… So glad that Eaglemoss continue to release figurines that delight die hard fans of Doctor Who. Wonder when we’ll see an animation release of this story from the BBC? The Great Intelligence in this story was creepy from the audio I’ve heard.

I know it’s not relevant here but it might not be answered anywhere else.

Forbidden planet says the series 12 figure come out tomorrow. Forbidden planet is different than forbidden planet international, so does anyone know when they come out there as that’s all we have in Belfast.

    It would be much appreciated.

Another beauty! Can’t wait for this one. Just the pose I was hoping they would choose. It will look great paired with the ‘Web of Fear’ version.

Still wish they’d have done the Krynoid as a special even if it did look like a ‘green bag’!

      February 27th, 2020 - 4:38pm

They could still do a Krynoid man, then spray the model orange and voila…an axon, or this can be done the other way round as the programme makers did!

    • Negative Matter

      February 27th, 2020 - 6:43pm

There are two versions of the Krynoid which would be preferable – the version covered in suckers which kills Dunbar and the monstrosity on Chase’s house. As for the Axon the very tentacled monstrosity would be my choice.

    • Doug Who

      February 28th, 2020 - 1:21pm

I still hold out hope that they may yet do a version of the Krynoid. I know Neil said they tried and it didn’t look good (it would be interesting to see the prototype and seeing the Pting one showed exactly why it wouldn’t work!) but I think the humanoid version would work well and yes as Philip says a modified version could be used for the Axon monster!

‘Seeds of Doom’ is just too good a story not to be represented in the collection.

      March 2nd, 2020 - 9:38am

Before this collection runs it’s course, I’d hope that every story is represented with at least one figure. Even if it’s just the Doctor or Companion in a different outfit compared to what they normally wear. Although my preference is always going to veer more towards any monsters or villains if possible.
