‘FACT! This is the first story in which we see Romania’s sonic screwdriver.’ It might be the first time it was mentioned, but it first appeared in City of Death…

I have just phoned Eaglemoss to find out why I had £6.00 go out of my account it was for the price increase so they took it for 6 previous issues but some good news is that I asked how many issues are left and the person I spoke to said the collection has been extended to 200 issues

      Who wants a Fish Person?

And who knows what colours they are? (Do not say black and white.)

I think they are meant to be a mushy greeny grey. There are a couple of good photos out there and I’d certainly buy one

Plenty of people would want a Fish Person!!

As for colour, a greenish tint as on the target book.

Neil I would absolutely love to have a Fish Person or a couple of characters from Underwater Menace in this collection, personally I think the classic era (aside from Dalek and Cyberman variants) is a little underrepresented. If there’s another one or two or more extensions, depending on how well the collection is selling and obviously license issues as well, it’s probably worth considering some more characters like these for potential figurine ideas

Basil, I have *statistics* saying about half the issues are classic and half are new series. Considering its the success of the new series that’s led to the collection, I think that’s pretty fair 🙂

A fish person, macra, chameleon and clockwork soldier would be nice additions to troughton, just waiting for the ice warrior to come back in stock lol

Yes to a Fish Person from me Neil!

There was a ‘reconstructed’ fishy individual on the DVD for ‘The Underwater Menace’ in a very Technicolor orange colour scheme but more realistically isn’t there a colour costume design drawing that could act as a guide?

Failing that does Frazer Hines or Anneke Wills or anyone else from the production recall their colour scheme at all?

Russell T Davies once said ‘I,d love to have a fishtank full of fishpeople’. He wasn,t Joking.

If Bessie isnt part of this set why not a seperate set of ‘who’ vehicles and spacecraft etc ..we know eagles moss produces all those – purchased star Trek craft and Bond and Batman vehicles so why not Who ? And while on the subject can’t we get a who bust series akin to the Trek and Batman ones and of similar quality?

For the Timelord sets my hopes are
2-tv movie master & rani (time and the rani)
3-Gallifrey soldiers & Timelord (war games)
4-Timelord (three doctors) & president borussa
5-white guardian & the black guardian
6-Leela & the leader of sister hood of Kahn

    For companion sets
1-third doctor, jo grant, Benton and the brigadier from the time monster
2-fifth doctor, Tegan, adric and Nyssa from the visitation
3-sixth doctor and peri from two doctors
4- seventh doctor and ace from survival

    Special issues
    1-Macra (Macra terror)
    2-kandy man
    3-yeti(abominable snowmen)
    4-Bessie

It could be 7 ace and mel from dragonfire to add an extra companion in there
In an attempt to get more sets without the need for multiple doctor variant they could do companion decade sets:
60s: vicki, steven, polly, ben, victoria, zoe
70s: liz, (jo and brig may be in a 3rd doctor companion set), harry, leela (romana 1 may be in time lord sets)
80s: turlough, kamelion (other companions could possible be in main companion set line)
      00s: martha, Donna, Mickey, wilf
      10s: rory, river, clara, nardole

      Hello, Hi.

Just to let you know, there are five Time Lord sets, not six (although I have plans for a sixth). Also, the Black and White Guardians, Leela and the Sisterhood of Karn are not Time Lords.

Bessie won’t happen because of the way the figurines are made. The Kandy Man can’t happen either, for reasons everyone must surely know by now. We’ve thought about the Macra and it might happen… but it’s a very boring prop. The first Yeti, however, is on the cards.

There are four Doctor-Companion sets upcoming. The next two are a bit different, the third has just started being made (it’s a looooong process) but the fourth… We’re not quite sure what to do. It might depend on how well the Thirteenth Doctor sets and the First Doctor sets do.

      Hi Neil,

I think the Macra might work quite well as a static model. It was certainly ambitious for the time and a lot of the problems were that it had such restricted movement but that’s a problem you don’t have with a model.

For me I think the Macra is a wee bit more interesting than a featureless furry rug with claws, fond as I am of the original Yeti. I’m delighted it’s being done as a figurine of course!

Is there any possibility at all of a Shrivenzale special? Again an ambitious design that struggled with its realisation but could work well as a figurine. Harlequin made a really nice miniature of it although it was very fiddly to paint!

It would be nice if the Fourth Doctor could have another special edition.

Leela is not a Time Lord and I don’t think the black and white Guardians are either
