October 17th, 2024 - 10:05amI’ve just ordered my set apparently, just before 10, but haven’t yet received a confirmation email. I know they have been late with them in the past, but was wondering if anyone else is in similar position? My account also doesn’t show previous/recent orders, although I don’t think it ever has, so unable to check. I assume they are just late in sending confirmation emails, it seemed to go through ok.

Tom Williams
October 15th, 2024 - 10:21pmPlus only just realised there the standard ones not the character exclusive so it I guess don’t bother me aslong as it’s just a 15th and ruby figure is all that matters lol
davidhhh
October 11th, 2024 - 12:08pmI wonder what the odds are that the single releases will make it to the mainstream US stores or sites. While I’m ok with paying 40 pounds for the set, shipping to the US is another 24 pounds, bringing the total to $84 US, which is ridiculous for one small box of two figures.
I’ve paid it for the Fugitive Doctor and 13/14 Regeneration set. But it’s getting ridiculous. I get that these are meant to be Character exclusives, but they should partner with some foreign distributors or partners (Amazon?) to make them affordable to fans overseas.

October 13th, 2024 - 12:43amAgreed! I miss the days of Hot Topic and Barnes & Noble having Sonic Screwdrivers and these figures!
dcbritboy
October 16th, 2024 - 8:32pm100% agree
Walter Homma
October 11th, 2024 - 12:19amAbsolutely fantastic Now I’ll be able to get the Fifteenth Doctor and Ruby to share new adventures alongside the other Doctors and companions here including The First Second and Third Doctors Sarah Jane and Brigadier Lethbridge Stewart Fantastic. Walter Homma Co Durham.

October 10th, 2024 - 7:39pmI have been waiting for these. Will definitely get! They both look lovely. It’s nice to be drip fed as I don’t have the room for as many. Since 2006 I have fulled my house with so many of them. I only dreamed that all the classic doctors would be released. Will we get another Doctor Who golden figure era like the late 00s? You never know but I doubt it.
The Werewolf
October 10th, 2024 - 7:33pmWell, I assume these I’ll be around for a bit and I can wait until Saturday/Sunday (19th/20th) to order these? Don’t want to risk them arriving to an empty house.
daz
October 10th, 2024 - 10:51pmCO only work Monday to Friday. I imagine the majority of orders won’t be dispatched until Monday 21st onwards.
They’ve advertised it globally on the DW Facebook page and as they ship abroad I think the first batch will sell out.
So get your order in asap.
Pipkin
October 11th, 2024 - 12:46amIm expecting the site will crash when it goes live or some frustration when you get to checkout. I just hope they are prepared for the initial influx of orders.
Jamie
October 11th, 2024 - 1:37pmThe site was tuned up for recent releases so hopefully no crashing this time!
Davidhhh
October 10th, 2024 - 11:24amI wonder how much the individual retail editions will be. I assume they’ll be cheaper, since the online versions are different and “exclusive”. But you never know these days with collectibles.
The DR.
October 10th, 2024 - 1:40pmSomeone on here already mentioned 18 pound per Figure. They were happy with the price as they Collected other Figures that Cost 20 pound Each.
Me Too reallyz I’ve Collected the Star Wars Black Series ever since they came out in 2013 and there 25 pound each if not more, and no one Blinks an eye at that.
JRT!
October 10th, 2024 - 2:00pmI KNOW,right?! I stopped collecting SWBS as it got too expensive, never even bought all just the ones I liked. But will buy every Vortex figure if that’s happening.
Charlie
October 10th, 2024 - 3:44pmThe RRP for the single retail editions is £17.99 each 🙂
Radburn
October 9th, 2024 - 8:40pmIs this packaging correct? I’ve noticed it says 15th. Doctor in the orange diamond panel of the Ruby figure, on the front instead of Ruby Sunday?
Mrbadwolf
October 9th, 2024 - 9:14pmYes, it means the figure is from the 15th Doctor’s era of the show
masterdoctorten
October 9th, 2024 - 9:45pmThat’s the era of the figure I think, not the character inside.
Radburn
October 9th, 2024 - 11:48pmAh! That makes more sense now…
Fh
October 9th, 2024 - 1:52pmI’m actually glad they’re not available to buy now, if they were I would’ve snapped them up in the frenzy by now my mind has had time to think about it I think I’ll wait it out a couple of years.
Slitheen71
October 9th, 2024 - 1:44pmUnbelievable to think with all the accessories that have been packaged with the Doctor over the years, we will finally get his psychic paper.
We’ve had some great things. The ghost detector, the beasts jars, adipose, a mop and handles but it took 18 years to get his psychic paper. So happy to get these and at a great price for 2 deluxe figures.
Fantastic !!
Grant P
October 9th, 2024 - 12:56pmThese look amazing cannot wait to order them! Wish they would do a Tardis play set but I know they won’t! Can dream
Callum
October 9th, 2024 - 7:40pmThe doctor who instagram page posted an pic with the tardis in the background and it looks to me like a 3d model tardis set then just a 2d photo
