According to some sources, this will include:

    1)Pureblood(DWM 193-196)
    2)Flashback(DWM Winter Special 1992)
    3)Emperor of the Daleks(DWM 197-202)
    4)Final Genesis(DWM 203-206)
    5)Time & Time Again(DWM 207)
    6)Cuckoo(DWM 208-210)
    7)Uninvited Guest(DWM 211)
    8)Up Above the Gods(DWM 227)

This wraps up the “ongoing” Doctor stories, and would just leave the “classic” stories, plus the earlier “Doctorless” ones.

I also wodner how they’re going to handle the colour pages?

I am so excited for this! I loved the Emperor of the Daleks strip and all of the Seventh Doctor’s New Adventures era of comic strips! My pre-order is placed!

Excellent. Can somebody help me out and tell me how much of the seventh doctor’s comic material has been collected? How much is left?

4 released so far, emperor will be fifth with possibly 1 or 2 after that depending on contents/page count of remaining volumes (including emperor) hope that helps. Oh and of course the last 7th doctor story ground zero is preceded by several past doctor stories so presumably will be in a multi-doctor future volume.

So the seventh doctors strips were interrupted by past doctors but then he returned for Ground Zero? I’ve seen Stripped for Action bit can’t remember. Thanks for the help.

The Seventh Doctor really has multiple eras:

1)The “running simultaneously with Seasons 24 – 26 era”. (Cold Day in Hell and Nemesis of the Daleks GNs).

2)The “only new Doctor Who in any media era”. (The Good Solider GN).

3)The ‘running simultaneously with the Virgin Novels era’ (Evening’s Empire GN).

4)The ‘subservient to the Virgin Novels era’ (apparently the Emperor of the Daleks GN, where the books dictate, and the comics follow).

5)The “past Doctors era”. NOT Seventh Doctor at all, but DWM did about two years of strips featuring earlier Doctors, set between television stories.

6)The ‘Ground Zero’ era. DWM basically disowned the “Virgin” era of their own strips, and picked up either immediately before or during the ‘Evening’s Empire era’. This was supposed to be the beginning of a long run of brand new Seventh Doctor strips, totally independent of the Virgin influence, yet ended up being only 5 issues, as The TV Movie came along, and DWM ended up using McGann instead.

It is unclear WHICH “Virgin era” strips will be included. Hopefully, the complete run from DWM 193-211 can be collected in this one volume. It’s weird that there some strong material in there, but DWM later realised the necessity of not being shackled to the Virgin continuity.

I think we only need one more collection after this covering Ground Zero and the related stories. The unrelated Past Doctor stories should be collected separately. I’m hoping this one will also include the stories from the yearbooks and specials that were linked to the DWM/NA continuity.
