Got all four of these mini sets on Tuesday from waterstones in blackpool.

the cyberman is by far the best followed by the dalek and tardis. the sonic is not as good as the others but its quite good for the price and the size.

cant wait for the k-9 set later in the year as that looks like the best one out of all of them.

Yeah, it’s definitely not as good as the others, but not bad enough to burn

There’s also gonna be a K9 one and that one comes with lights and sounds and says “Affirmative,Master!” That one is probably the most decent one of the whole set of these kits.

the cyberman bust is of the new cybermen.it is very well detailed but feels like cheap plastic. it also comes with a little booklet wich says all the desings. the dalek figure.it is basicly a remake of the 3.75 inch one but its plunger is to long! it has the same articilation as any dalek figure. it also comes with a booklet about the daleks. the tardis. its just a really small tardis wich light switches on but dosnt flicker it comes with a booklet about 50 years!

Not out until April according to Amazon UK ~ Which is strange as I was in FP Southampton (8/3/14) & they had a pile of them on the shelf, so I picked one up & bought it…

As it is Extended the Sonic is a ‘Static Piece’ obviously too small to Open/Extend. Nice little booklet with it plus Light/SFX ~ Certainly fit’s in well with the others in the series…

is the sonic screwdriver the same size as the replica?

Depend’s on which replica Sonic you are talking about? This one is probably the smallest I have seen that actually has Light/SFX…

Are these like those harry potter ones with wands or Hedwig that you find in bookshops? Are they about that size?

I have the cyberman which is very detailed but it is very small and is made of plastic. I suppose that is what the other are like.

Worth noting that these are small boxes, despite the pictures. I for one like small bits of Doctor Who merchandise with severe space issues.

I cannot think of something similar, but volume-wise, not far off two decks of playing cards with slightly different dimensions obviously.

The TARDIS kit is a bit deceptive, it is only the light on top that lights up, on the box, it looks as though the windows do, but, they don’t. Still not bad for the price. Water stones have a 20% off deal at the moment.

That would be cool. If when you switched him on without having to press a button he would talk and respond to you. And he would keep track of times like when its lunch time. Including the phonebox arguement exept with whatever he wants you to tell him. With blue lights that shine when its on.
