Doctor Who Electronic Sound FX Daleks

Doctor Who Electronic Sound FX Daleks

Due August £13.49 – £14.99

The Daleks were created by the Kaled scientist, Davros as travel machines. He had deduced that the years of radiation and chemical poisoning from an ongoing war would lead his race to mutate into immobile organisms. The Dalek travel machines would house these creatures and allow the Kaleds to survive.

However, in the course of his experiments, Davros deliberately removed what he considered to be debilitating emotions from the mutants and a force of evil was spawned!

The Daleks were born without any ability to feel compassion or pity and were motivated only by hate, fear and an implacable belief that they were the superior creatures in the Universe. Recreate scenes from Doctor Who with these highly detailed 5″ poseable Dalek action figures.

Featuring the following six Daleks, modelled accurately on some of the famous Daleks from past episodes. Bronze Dalek (2005), Dalek Invasion of Earth (1964), Power of the Daleks (1966), Revelation of the Daleks (1985), Planet of the Daleks (1973) and Death to the Daleks (1974).

Each Dalek includes sound FX and speech by era! Collect them all!. Six to Collect. One supplied. Requires 3 x 1.5V Batteries included. For ages 5 years and over.

      It’s great.

This will have to be explained in the story somehow.

But the FATLEKS are infact supposed to be Dalek officers, or officer-Daleks if you will. There will be a couple of them and the majority of the Dalek army will be the bronze ones.

Steven Moffat said this was the original intention for what they would do with the FATLEKS. Having the old Daleks exterminated in Series 5 was just so we could see them use their new guns. 😛

    • supremedalek01

      August 5th, 2012 - 3:20am

I’m guessing “FATLEKS” are the new multi-coloured daleks.
And why are there 1960s, 70s and 80s daleks then?

  • Lady Macbeth

    August 3rd, 2012 - 7:35am

I like the single-packed Daleks (though, really, I could care less if they make noise or not). However, I’d love to see some 70’s era Tom Baker Daleks in the assortment – Genesis or Destiny would be super.

      August 4th, 2012 - 10:38am

argos are so big they sometimes get stuff flown in to make sure they have some stock for catalogue launch, inevitably this means other stores miss out on sales

I know this is rather obvious, but after seeing the latest trailer I think the bronze Dalek will be selling the most now !

I can tell you the 60s Daleks are definitly selling the least. ❗

    • KORSAIR

      August 2nd, 2012 - 6:21pm

Odd that I’d be more interested in the 60s Daleks meself.

Really ? I am surprised to see this.

For my cousin (who loves Daleks) I’m getting him the Death to the Daleks Dalek, but along with that should I get a second one of those Daleks or the bigger one from the Dalek Invasion ? ❓

    • supremedalek01

I’m getting the invasion because it matches the planet dalek supreme not having a pupil and having a larger base.

My family have all guessed which one I’ll get
My mum Dalek invasion of earth which I really don’t want!
My dad. Bronze dalek which Id be happy with as I never got the progenitor guardian figure and these daleks are in the new series
My sister necros dalek which I would live to get
    And I guessed planet
I wouldn’t mind getting death or power though the only one I don’t want is dalek invasion of earth not right now

I get frowned upon by my parents don’t get any figures for christmas or birthday but sometimes use my parents money to get them.

    • Lady Macbeth

      August 5th, 2012 - 3:04am

Do what you love. I’ve been collecting for as long as I’ve had a conscious memory – so from about the age of 3 or 4. I collect what I like, which started with the original Star Wars figures and has continued over the years with Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean, Doctor Who (thank you Character Options & Underground Toys), and Batman. So, in one form or another, I’ve been a collector of things for almost 30 years. When you lose interest, it’s time to stop; but until then, enjoy every minute of it.

9 visits across eight stores I have managed to get 5 different ones.

How many I have seen of each one:-
    1. Death – 4 times
    2. Bronze – 3 times
    3. Power – 3 times
    4. Planet – 3 times
    5. Invasion – once
    6. Revelation – zero

Last four consecutive different Argos visited seen Death, having not seen it in 4 previous different Argos’s.

Visited one Argos that had 2 in stock in the morning, had none when I got there, and 1 when I got home. (expired reservation or another customer view…how annoying)
