Doctor Who Electronic Sound FX Daleks

Doctor Who Electronic Sound FX Daleks

Due August £13.49 – £14.99

The Daleks were created by the Kaled scientist, Davros as travel machines. He had deduced that the years of radiation and chemical poisoning from an ongoing war would lead his race to mutate into immobile organisms. The Dalek travel machines would house these creatures and allow the Kaleds to survive.

However, in the course of his experiments, Davros deliberately removed what he considered to be debilitating emotions from the mutants and a force of evil was spawned!

The Daleks were born without any ability to feel compassion or pity and were motivated only by hate, fear and an implacable belief that they were the superior creatures in the Universe. Recreate scenes from Doctor Who with these highly detailed 5″ poseable Dalek action figures.

Featuring the following six Daleks, modelled accurately on some of the famous Daleks from past episodes. Bronze Dalek (2005), Dalek Invasion of Earth (1964), Power of the Daleks (1966), Revelation of the Daleks (1985), Planet of the Daleks (1973) and Death to the Daleks (1974).

Each Dalek includes sound FX and speech by era! Collect them all!. Six to Collect. One supplied. Requires 3 x 1.5V Batteries included. For ages 5 years and over.

death to the daleks – different gun and lights

revelation of the daleks (necros) – different eye piece

you can scroll down for more info. (i hope that quoted correctly)

we dont keep all the figures in there, just the play sets, all the big Daleks and other bits, gives us room in the house

if you look here you can see the ones in the shed on all the black plastic shelves http://merchandise.thedoctorwhosite.co.uk/the-doctor-who-site-merchandsie-collection/

Do you think they will release any variants in this wave? I mean small things such as a death dalek with the alternate machine gun and orange lights? If not, a seperate wave with that, the supreme one, stealth one, imperial and renegade?? Sounds like a good wave to me!

Same here booboo! My Tesco always gets the CB figures late. 🙁

    • booboo

      July 8th, 2012 - 11:12am

apart from a box of CB figures mine never had any of it

the most they ever had was some sonic screwdrivers and some odd figures ages ago, that’s it

    • BOOBOO JR

Where was that (The Ben 10 thing)? Has Character stopped sending you information or something?

    • booboo

      July 8th, 2012 - 11:20am

No, but catalogue companies get info and pictures way in advance so they can print their catalogues but the info is usually “officially” released just before they come out (as has just happened with argos) – we know they have the Fx Daleks and the gun thing in stock and ready to sell at catalogue launch in a couple of weeks.

    • Give me a Dalek any day

      July 8th, 2012 - 11:20am

Up to about 2008, my Tesco used to have loads of Doctor Who stuff. After that, there was less and less stuff. They got a couple of Series 5 figures and some Sonic Screwdrivers in at the end of 2010 and then shortly after that there was nothing. All they have now is CB Doctor Who Series 2, DWA and DWMI. They even stopped getting DWM earlier this year. 🙁

They look good… but having SFX without lights is odd to me. It’s like they’re talking… but not really talking since the ear pieces etc aren’t pulsing along with the speech…

I guess it’s a cost thing… but for me it’s the difference between buying one or two, or buying 5 of each. :p

in case you think that some of them are the same as the figures just with sound fx think again:

death to the daleks – different gun and lights
revelation of the daleks (necros) – different eye piece
power of the daleks – diferent lights, eye and shade of blue
invasion of earth – different eyepiece and gun and base
planet of the daleks – different lights and paint application
bronze dalek (rtd,2005,etc) – different eye colour, much darker just like the new ironside.

I don’t consider them as part of 5” action figures range, they are cool but not part of my collection. For example, i have the radio controlled ones, davros and k9 but i don’t include them in my 5” collection. Same for the Flesh Creator figure.. it’s separate. But I include the pandorica with cds, the junk tardis, the reaper, but not the goo-pod with parts. Do you have the same system? I mean, I think there are limits within which we can call an item part of the 5” collection

ummm yes the limit is like a silent and the paridime dalek technically they are 6″ so they shouldn’t be included in the 5″ range

    • Dalek Sec

      July 10th, 2012 - 4:14am

I consider them all to be 5 inch scaled. If you consider the Doctor to be the “template” of the 5 inch size, than all the rest are scaled down to fit him.

Haven’t seen anything of the Series 3 Figures yet, there are a few “Character Building Sets” on the system which aren’t very specific but I can check to see what they are once we get some stock in 🙂

Booboo, had a quick look at the system and couldn’t find anything on the Series 3 Character Building or the mini sets. We do have another 5 pack of figures which includes a Silent, Stratagist Dalek, Weeping Angel, Cyberman and I cannot for the life of me remember what the other figure was.

It is frustrating not being able to buy them pre catalogue launch. We had the Power Dalek come in today. 🙂
