I’ve held off for well over a year but just stumbled upon it last night while scrolling on Amazon and it said there were only 6 left in stock? £39 is nowhere near the price I had hoped it would fall to but I’d rather pay up than have one new series steelbook missing from the shelf.

First they change the font down the spine…then they use the wrong master on season 3 then they randomly remove him from the front just to plonk him on the back with weeping angels instead of toclofane???? And then they leave jack off of the front of it!!!! Then they release season 11 with a promo picture instead of season dedicated artwork and then they release the gorgeous season 12 stee book but the number 12 is actually the word twelve for the first time. Does amazon even know what consistency means. Yes these are relatively small mistakes but there’s a lot of these small mistakes. It’s an expensive steel book collection that I’ll probably stick with now and they can’t even be bothered to stick to numbers and a certain font !!!!!!

June 29th, 2020 - 5:26pmNo way is this worth paying that price, even reduced! To be honest I do not understand why the new series boxsets are so expensive considering we only get a handful of extras and even less episodes on them due to the current season reductions.

June 30th, 2020 - 10:22amYou do realize that season 12 boxset (11 episodes) is only 10 minutes shorter than series 8 (12 episodes) and only 14 minutes shorter than series 5 (13 episodes)

May 25th, 2020 - 2:01amThat’s why I haven’t touched it. It’s not worth it at £50. Said so at the time. For the lack of extras I’d pay £25 which was what I payed for the s11 steelbook. I mostly like series 12 however the poor set of extras (pretty much everything bar the commentaries can be found on YouTube) don’t make the series worth owning on blu ray yet.

I have Series 11 and 12 on my Freesat hard drive so that will do for now.
