October 19th, 2022 - 4:28pmMy copy – ordered direct from Panini – arrived this lunchtime, delivered by Royal Mail. An excellent read, well up to the usual standards for these Chronicles. I clearly remember 1973 and the serials covered. Also includes articles on the Radio Times Tenth Anniversary special edition and on the Letts/Dicks led ‘Moonbase 3’ series.

October 5th, 2022 - 5:21pmI have just received an email from Panini stating that this magazine has been delayed until the 20th October – I just thought I would everyone know as I ordered directly from the Panini site.
I am not sure if there will be a delay to the shops but I assume that it will be the same.

October 6th, 2022 - 9:09amThanks for this saves me a trip into town at lunchtime today.
My wishlist is for 1993, I know there was no real new episodes (apart from Dimensions in Time) but it seemed to me Doctor Who was everywhere: we had the BBC 2 repeats early in the year, then the documentary in November and Planet of the Daleks repeated, the two radio shows and also the sheer amount of branded 1963 – 1993 merchandise made available. So much more to list here. That year bought the series back in the spotlight for the general public.

September 24th, 2022 - 9:30pmI’d love a 2008. I know 2007 is out but Doctor Who seemed more omnipresent than ever in the UK that year

September 23rd, 2022 - 8:50amCould always ask to get copy put aside when it’s delivered. It’s difficult to say when it’s delivered as it’s not aahasone so doesn’t come with normal news deliverys. Depends on the stores normal stock delivery days. This is for whsmith as used to work there. If seeps out normally get a replenishment delivery ASAP. Depending on stock levels at suppliers. Got Tennant, Troughton and Davison ones in Bedford branch.

September 20th, 2022 - 9:09amExcellent, looking forward to this one.
This’ll make it one year each for Doctors 1-5 and 10. Hoping they continue to do one for each Doctor before any second entries for them. So, 6-9 and 11 (maybe 12/13 if they go that recent) to come in the range next maybe!

September 22nd, 2022 - 3:48amI’d love 1988 and 1996. 2005 will no doubt be a “bumper volume”!

September 23rd, 2022 - 11:06amThey’d certainly be my picks/predictions for 7-9 and I’d go with 1986 for 6 as well. 2011 for 11 given the height of interest in America at that time might be good as well.

September 20th, 2022 - 8:23amWhat happened to the Troughton issue? In all the WH Smiths I’ve been to, I’ve only ever seen one issue/copy of it (wish id grabbed it now) – were these in short supply?!

September 20th, 2022 - 9:46amTry buying the Panni official site. They might have some left.

September 20th, 2022 - 6:00pmI paid too much for this on eBay. Wish I’d grabbed from who shop (in barking) which had them.

September 20th, 2022 - 6:02pmI agree. As supermarkets’ magazine selections have decreased, these have becoming increasingly hard to get hold of in the wild without incurring postage costs from online retailers, pushing the cost up to £12- £15. I was hoping that DWM would offer some kind of subscription, but no sign of this.

September 20th, 2022 - 9:47pmI’ve missed the second doctor issue too. Never saw any in my local WHSmiths. They are overstocked with the 10th doctor issue. Panini are out of stock online as far as I can see. Guess I’ll save a bomb whilst WHS and the publishers will lose out as I probably won’t bother with any more. Not a very good way of running a business.

September 25th, 2022 - 6:45pmGot a copy of the 1967 issue earlier this month from WHSmith in the Arndale in Manchester after a hunt round. I later saw one in WHS in Burnley, but they are not easy to get that’s for sure.
