I think I’ll have to drop the CB range… too much else to buy, and the super-rares put me off collecting them anyway.
But I can’t complain that’s for sure, we’ve got a lot of variety this year. Coupled with the Big Chielf releases, there’s a lot of great stuff coming soon.
I suppose the only thing really lacking are some new (as in new sculpt) character option series 6/Christmas special figures, but I suppose there will be more soon.

2.) If there are six to collect, what will the Sixth SOUND FX Dalek be ?
3.) Are the Sound FX Daleks poseable ? I suppose not.
4.) More Series 6 figures ? I’m waiting on them, if I could jsut know there will be some more, I would wait a year if needs be ! ❗

January 25th, 2012 - 10:30amI agree with Robert, Character are concentrating just on the Character Building side and leaving the 5 inch figure collectors frustrated. The Daleks have all been released before bar the clear Dalek, just stick a few sound effects and ker ching more money in the coffers. Its very frustrating and the worse thing is that the series 6 figures have been very poor compared to previous releases. Fed up fan indeed!!!

Surely character will be releasing more 5″ figures of Series 6 ! By february they should have made some more, and release them.
We can’t just leave the Series 6 line, because:
(1.) There hasn’t been enough figures for that Series yet, just Silents, Cybermen, afew characters, Doctors (one of which, was pointless, the Cowboy hat).
(2.) Character will make alot more money by releasing more in their Series 6 line, there is so much demand for these figures they have not yet released ! ❗

January 25th, 2012 - 1:13pmI do agree with McGann is the Doctor – thought we might have had the Doc in his long coat, a Handbot , a Minotuaur, one of the Ganger workers and a couple more Peg Dolls as well as Rory. Been far too many repaints and re-releases with slight tweaks. I love the Character Doctor Who figure range but they have certainly short changed the fans the last two seasons.

January 26th, 2012 - 9:58amI imagine that any brand new releases in the 5″ line will be based on series 7 and Character Options will be under obligation not to show these just yet.
The 5″ figures are their flagship range, they would give up on these. They also take a lot of time and effort to design so I imagine it is a monster effort to ‘catch the moment’ and release that seasons figures as the show is being broadcast and interest is at its greatest.

January 25th, 2012 - 6:56amWhy on Skaro didint Character Options add sounds to the 5inch Daleks when they started selling them back in 2005/2006 ?, that would have been more cool then just having a nice piece of sculpted plastic to play with !!. What baffles me thou is that their releasing the Classic Daleks in the same packaging with the modern logo, surely they would use one of the old classic series logos like the famous diamond logo for example that Ive seen over the years on various Doctor Who related merchandise.

All we’ve had so far is Cybermen, Silents, (which are good, but there are other characters aswell !), two figures for Series 5, Uncle, Idris The Doctor in cowboyhat(sucks) the Doctor in Straightjacket, Beard, White shirt red bow, Blue shirt blue bow !
No 11th Doctor in Longcoat (Closing Time) or Wedding of Riversong (exactly the same except he has the Stettson aswell) ! That would make two great figures I would love to have !
No Minotuar, Handbots, still no Series 6 Amy, no Dorium, no smile ! 🙁
