June 9th, 2013 - 6:30amI can’t find this anywhere. 😡

June 9th, 2013 - 7:49amThat statement I would apply to so much merchandise these days…
I only ever saw one copy of this with minor damage. I checked in WHS first who said it had sold out (that is within 2 days or less). They said they were restocking, but I did not want to chance it and bought the minor-damaged copy.

June 13th, 2013 - 7:19pmI grudgingly paid an extra £6 (incl. P&P) for this on Amazon, the seller had about 4 in stock. I was loathed to do this but, like everyone else, found nothing either in WH Smiths or anywhere else. Extremely annoying, especially as the Amazon seller no doubt bought up a load just to profiteer from it (and it worked, as I didn’t want to miss out altogether). If it’s any consolation to you, I think there is a little less in it than there should have been, despite still being very good.

DOCTOR WHO ONE
June 1st, 2013 - 3:54pmBrought this today in my local WH Smith’s.
Well worth it if your a massive Dalek fan such as myself.
Best bit for me about this would probably be the lovely reprint of the 1960’s Dalek comic-strips from old TV Century 21, especially the first one which the original original story about 2 Skarosians called Yarvelling and Zolfian who created the original Daleks, printed some years before 1975’s ‘Genesis of the Daleks’ told the real story about the creation of the Dalek’s from Davros himself.
DOCTOR WHO ONE
June 1st, 2013 - 3:56pm[CONTINUED]
Plus the awesome thing about the comic-strip is that is features the introduction of the original golden Emperor Dalek before the original one from ‘Evil of the Daleks’ made it appearance in the 2nd Doctor stories of the late 1960’s.

June 9th, 2013 - 11:22pmI agree I thought £10 was a lot for a book but well worth every Dalek story an a-z and looking back at the old Dalek toys and 9 Dalek comics
to me this is best Dalek book to buy and a must have for any who fan can’t wait to find out what the other 2 bookazines will be

May 31st, 2013 - 3:28pmMy local WHSmiths finally got stock of this today, and it was worth every second of the wait. One of the best magazines I have ever read. Even with the price, its only a 3 issue thing and a great way to celebrate the 50th. Will be keeping this in my care for a LONG time.
The TARDIS
May 25th, 2013 - 12:07pmIs this actually out yet? I’ve been hunting it down through Hull all day but I can’t find it. And Galaxy 4 says it isn’t out until the 29th.
Christine
May 25th, 2013 - 6:48pmIt is out allright. I read mine thursday night and it’s absolutely a worthwhile purchace. As you can’t buy these in normal shops in my country, I bought mine via Amazon.

May 29th, 2013 - 12:28pmThere seems to have been a bit of a mess up in the distribution of this book,I got my copy over a week ago but some areas haven’t had any copies at all.
Johnny
June 3rd, 2013 - 11:47amIt’s apparently a staggered release (as opposed to there actually being distribution problems as some people have insinuated) so it should appear at your local WH Smiths over the next week or so.

April 28th, 2013 - 2:32pmSlightly off topic, doctor who magazine published the classic strips from TV
Comic and TV Action. Are there any plans to reprint them in the same format
as, for example the Judge Dredd files?

May 20th, 2013 - 11:30amThere will likely be complex rights issues stopping them.

April 15th, 2013 - 5:51pmDue 16th May it says and not sure about da price
Johnny
April 16th, 2013 - 7:57amIt is priced at £9:99.
It’s actually a “Bookazine” as opposed to a magazine, so will have a vastly increased page count compared to DWM or the DWM Special Editions – hence the larger price.
I have a Ferrari Bookazine that cost £9:99 and has a 400 page count. The latter point being for reference only.
Dalekdino27
April 15th, 2013 - 3:33pmWhy is the dalek’s neck bit not on straight?, moaning aside this looks ok and I might buy it.
DOCTOR WHO ONE
April 15th, 2013 - 3:57pmMight be edited. Some pictures Ive seen on books and posters feature Daleks of the Time War version that feature bad editing of the dome placed on top of the neck of another image, and and the angle of either the whole Dalek or the dome of a Dalek just don’t look right, showing it’s clearly an edited photograph.

April 15th, 2013 - 3:21pmBe aware this is more a book than a magazine.
DOCTOR WHO ONE
April 15th, 2013 - 3:06pmI might buy it, but knowing me, I’ll browse through the whole thing first before deciding wither or not to buy it, after all, I wouldn’t want to waste £10 on something that aint worth getting.
