Doctor Who Adventures issue 355
The ultimate Doctor Who family announced by BBC Doctor Who Adventures magazine
BBC Doctor Who Adventures magazine, the fact-packed magazine for children that love Doctor Who, today reveals the ultimate Doctor Who family in the UK.
Moray Laing, Editor of Doctor Who Adventures, says:
“Earlier this year we launched our search to find a family that live and breath Doctor Who unlike any other. We were really impressed with the response and it wasn’t easy choosing the overall winner because we got some amazing entries! However, the ultimate award goes to the Fishpool family from Cleveland. In their entry they explained how the boys, Dylan and Noah, have a TARDIS blue bedroom, have amazing Doctor Who parties and love playing Doctor Who all the time… and they even have a dog called Tennant.”
The family win a year’s worth of Doctor Who Adventures, an action figure and a Doctor Who calendar. Three runner-up families win goodies too.
Also this issue:
· A sneaky look at the next two episodes of Doctor Who.

September 24th, 2014 - 7:32pmOk, so I’ve got this now, and anyone who wants to know more about the exclusive stickers, listen up:
So basically, you get one A2, one-sided poster, plus a promotional pack of 5 stickers, and two card packs that open out to reveal four stickers inside each. So as advertised, you get 13 in total.
The poster has 8 slots (DWA1, DWA2, DWA3 etc.) and the promotional pack of stickers contains DWA1 and DWA2; both are the bigger style stickers. Each card pack contains DWA3 and DWA4 respectively, and both are standard size.

However, the difference with DWA3 and DWA4 is that they can also be used in the album. They’re either DWA3 and DWA4, or 16 and 188 (I think…)
So to recap, you get 4 promotional stickers, 2 of which are ‘optional’; they can be used in the album OR poster. The other 9 are standard stickers that can only be used in the album. 13 more stickers coming next fortnight…

September 27th, 2014 - 5:44pmBut also worthy of note is the fact that the sickers in the card holders of four are more shiny than the usual stickers.
Also has anyone tried putting stickers 3 + 4 on the poster and then folded it back up? They put the spots for most of the stickers on the creases.

September 27th, 2014 - 5:47pmYes, I agree they are more shiny.
Tried stickers 3&4 cautiously, and didn’t have any problems. Luckily, when I folded the poster up again it seemed fine to me.

September 28th, 2014 - 9:15amOkay StetsonDoctor, that’s useful to know. Didn’t think I’d end up collecting these but I couldn’t resist. It’s mainly for the nostalgia of collecting them back in 2006 with the Radio Times set!
