Doctor Who Adventures issue 278

Doctor Who Adventures issue 278

First off, how cool is this mini magazine? I mean, it’s totally intentional.

I was NOT playing around with the Teselecta’s miniaturisation ray and blasted the magazine by accident or anything!

You can keep it safely in your trainer bay. And then you can put badges and stickers on that. Awesome. Beyond awesome. Moresome! Secondly, I’ve sort of managed to shrink myself, so please send for help. And for a teeny-tiny fez.

Thanks a lot!

Also inside…

*Read all about it
*Mini monsters
*Creature feature
*Pocket science
*Bumble of destruction (comic)
*Doctor Doctor
*Ultimate Monster collection and more…

This weeks issue, priced £2.99, comes with trainer bag, stickers and badges.

I have bought the magazine since day one, and try and get the supermarket variants. If the magazine is bagged or sealed, I do not open it.

If the bagged magazine package went A5, as a collector I would welcome it with the space issue I have. Admittedly if I were to read it, I might struggle.

There is something quite special about A5 magazines, at it is very reminiscent of fanzines.

When I first saw the magazine in the bag, I was slightly worried. It looked far too small and I just couldn’t take it seriously. But when I opened up the bag, the magazine wasn’t really that bad! It still feels like a normal issue…but smaller! 😉

Oh no sad day. Did not notice this until you pointed it out.

I loved Paul Langs contribution has been a great asset for and one of the best people on the team since issue 1. Will never forget the time he helped me out. Will be sad to see him go, he will be missed

      July 17th, 2012 - 5:41pm

    July 17th, 2012 - 4:35pm

  • Give me a Dalek any day

    July 17th, 2012 - 4:10pm

So this weeks issue is smaller than normal? Actually smaller?!!??? Well, I’m sure this will be interesting. Also, are the cards Set 1 or Extreme? 🙂

    • booboo

      July 17th, 2012 - 4:11pm

yes its half the size. A5, picture shows 1st set

    • Give me a Dalek any day

      July 17th, 2012 - 4:14pm

    • Give me a Dalek any day

      July 17th, 2012 - 4:16pm

Also, do you know when we can get the Extreme cards from the MI site? Or have they put them on there already since Ultimate Collection is out? 🙂

    • the TARDIS

      July 17th, 2012 - 4:57pm

So there isn’t a full size mag this week?

    • booboo

      July 17th, 2012 - 4:59pm

no but the packet is quite big because of the bag (which is quite good i think )

    • the TARDIS

      July 17th, 2012 - 6:53pm

Okay… But it is a bit annoying if, like me, you collect all of the mags and don’t bin them. When it said in the last issue “Mega mini mag” I was expecting a seperate mini mag, not the actual magazine. Oh well, just doesn’t line up with the collection.

    July 17th, 2012 - 2:20pm

    Coooooool! I love this mag!

yes its half the size of a normal one

    • Esterath
