Doctor Who 2012 – Rory Williams Action Figure
Amy Pond’s fiancée who, on his stag night found himself whisked away in the TARDIS. After defeating the Saturnynes and the Dream Lord, Rory was killed saving the Doctor’s life during a battle with the Silurians.
However, his body was absorbed by the time energies leaking across time and space – resulting in him never having existed. However, his essence was placed into an Auton replica of himself in Roman times and after briefly reuniting with Amy, he accidentally killed her.
To restore her, the Doctor placed her in the Pandorica and for two thousand years Rory stood guard over her, the legendary Lone Centurion. When time was finally rebooted, Rory became human again, married Amy and once again joined her and the Doctor in the TARDIS.

August 21st, 2012 - 6:53amI think we’re probably going to get full details within a couple of weeks like when the Seeds Of Doom or Castrovalva sets were “leaked” early. I do like the outfit and the face the problem is definitely the hair. I know some people are saying this is a prototype and the real one will be different but I say think of Rivers hair.

August 22nd, 2012 - 6:38amIt’s very difficult to get a ‘proper likeness’ at this size/type of figure. CO don’t always get it perfect but they do a pretty good job compared to a lot of other toy companies out there.

Ah well, definitely getting this, my dad drives trains for virgin and is always in Wolverhampton or Birmingham and so can pop down to the forbidden planet stores so I’ll ask him.

August 21st, 2012 - 1:10amBut it looks like a real figure Im gonna preorder anyway I’m only gonna lose 11.99. It’s shocking how high the prices go up every year I remember when the series 2 figures only cost £7 and now there £12.
It doesn’t really look like it’s going to be a good figure year because of the episodes because the daleks and weeping angels may or may not be released so all we have to look forward to really is a load of dinosaurs an eyguiptian woman and a re released ood with black cubes presumably. Looking forward to it whatever happens : mrgreen:

Chances are it is a poorly painted version of the outfit Arthur Darvill wore in the promo images for the 2011 series.
